Beachrunners Inn

This is my favorite place to stay in Long Beach. Pat and her daughter have created a beautiful home to host traveling guests. The rooms are comfortable and clean. I've stayed there multiple times over the last few years and each time I've met interesting people, ate delicious breakfast (different entree each morning), and slept comfortably.

Stayed here for 2 nights and Pat the hostess couldnt do enough for us. The rooms are very quaint and clean and the bed super comfy. The homemade breakfast was delicious. We were made to feel very welcome.

I loved every minute of my stay at this charming and welcoming gem of an inn run by a wonderfully caring mother and daughter team!!!rooms were cosy and full of character. Breakfasts a treat and so creative. My go to place always in LB!!

A stunning home from home in a beautifully cared for historic landmark where mother and daughter owners Pat and Courtney greet you as family. The rooms are quiet and super comfy. .Breakfasts are deliciously fresh and creative. A perfect spot and so close to the beach!!

I really enjoyed staying at Beachrunners Inn. Truth be told this was my first B&B experience and I loved it. The house is very well maintained. While it is in keeping with its age (built in 1913) the owners have kept it well maintained and modernized without going overboard. The house and my room were SUPER clean. Hospitality was gracious and kind. The food was home cooked and there was plenty for me. I stayed in the Sunset Beach room (solo stay) and it was perfect for me. I found the internet service to excellent and I loved the location. Highly recommend.

We stayed here 2 nights. Host was great and the coffee/breakfast was awesome! The place was nice and very clean. Location was just a couple blocks from the beach but you need to drive to the waterfront area. My biggest problem with this place was that it was not air conditioned which we did not know. I would never have stayed there if I knew. It was hot even with the fans. I'm sure many times of the year you don't need AC but when we were there it was in the mid to upper '80s. The beds were very comfortable and the place was very clean, so that was good, but the water pressure in the shower was weak and the TV in the room was dated and small. The back patio area could have been really cool if they'd just update the furniture and keep it clean so you want to hang out there. Long Beach in general is nothing special and in areas slightly sketchy. Beaches aren't all that beautiful or clean either. The waterfront area is mostly chain restaurants, not really our thing. Overall, it was probably a decent value. We stayed there because we were flying out of that airport, but I wouldn't rush back to Long Beach. Like I said our biggest issue is that it was not air conditioned.
