International Hall / University of London

I felt completely safe staying here. The building is secure. The staff was happy and helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent. The rooms were neat and clean, but a bit hard to find on the floor the first time or two. I think, who ever designed the building liked mazes. haha I'm not an eighteen year old college student with a quick memory. I will stay here again when I am in London.

This is a low-cost option close to the University of London. I had planned to reserve an en suite single, but discovered the only thing en suite was a sink. Toilet was a few steps away, but locked, apparently by construction contractors, for last two-plus days of my stay. Remaining toilets tan out of paper twice during stay. No a/c and windows have only small opening. Good, hearty breakfast, but serving hours limited. It appears they are doing summertime fix-up, and dorm filled with many noisy teenagers during that time. Room fronted on park, but late/night street and hall noise. I’m 70 and next time I’ll probably spend a bit more for a better option.
