St Johns Boutique Hotel

I have reviewed before on Trip Advisor and said there should be something between average and very good. That’s how I would rate this hotel. There are many pluses: the location, it’s quiet, the room and bed very comfortable and spotless. A well equipped bathroom and the communication with the owners was good. Unfortunately we had problems with the heating system which we couldn’t adjust so the room was too hot , the tv didn’t work ( or if it did you needed a science degree to fathom it out or better still instructions) and the entrance hall somewhat dingy. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay and would consider returning.

The hotel was suppose to send an email 48 hours before check-in, but we never received the email. I contacted ********** to make sure they have a correct phone number and email, thinking they would communicate with the property. We missed the first night b/c we never go the check-in information, and they insisted they texted the wrong phone number - not our fault - but we still got charged. It wasn't until they answered the phone the next day that we got the information to check in. Entry is a small stairwell up stairs - so if you have heavy luggage - don't stay here. The room was not that clean and there was feces on the toilet seat. There was hair on the floors and the faucet was rickety. I would never stay here again.

The room was absolutely boiling. The air con unit appears not to work. Reception number advised it was “discontinued”. Not acceptable

This place was great for us! Perfect location in part of London with few lodgings. Self check in but excellent communications from proprietor and quick response to special request. Housekeeping staff super friendly and helpful. Quiet, comfortable, convenient. Will return!

I stayed the night before treatment at the Wellington, had a lovely walk through regents park which is a stones throw away. The room was surprisingly big; the bathroom was also huge with lovely bath Super comfy bed and nice linen. Only downside I couldn’t get the fridge to work Would definitely stay again

We ended up staying here twice in two weeks. Excellent each time. Quick walk to Primrose Hill!

Nice eatery located in peaceful area,limited seating but good decor.Good Indian delicacies specially Bhel,Palak patta chat.Bar is there with good variety of Indian street food with efficient services.Confusion in name no where Patakha mentioned.
