Hub by Premier InnLondon Goodge Street

You can never go wrong with Premier Inn so I was excited to try the newer Hub version of the chain. Situated just off the Tottenham Court Road (a minute's walk from Goodge Street tube) it is the perfect bolt hole for exploring the city. Ten minute walk to Oxford Street, five minute walk to Soho, ten minute walk to Tottenham Court Road tube and on to Charing Cross Road. It's soundproofed - my room faced out on to Tottenham Court Road and apart from a very occasional, very distant Tube rumble (unavoidable in Central London) my room was silent. The service was excellent - I arrived at 11:30 and was offered an early check-in - with 24/7 complimentary tea and coffee in the first floor lounge. My room was clean and surprisingly large for the Hub concept! (I chose the bigger room option.) The lights etc are controlled by a headboard panel and you have electronically controlled window blinds which really do shut out the light at night. The price was incredible for such a well-placed location (and on a weekend!). My only two very minor ******* (hence the four stars) were that the room was a little worn round the edges, and the king size bed was actually two larger beds put together. Other than that - and these are very minor points - the bed was comfortable, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, and I would not hesitate to book again.

Clean, room more like a hutch. Comfortable bed but not enough room for two people to lay side by side. Ideal for one person though No tea or coffee in the room. No decaffeinated or herbal drinks in cafe downstairs. Staff helpful Good location restaurants, bars coffee shops. Supermarkets Convenient for UCHL

I am a first time customer to Premier Inn and the hub hotel at Goodge Street was excellent, beyond all my expectations. I was having treatment at UCL Hospital which was a 2 minute walk away, so a perfect location at a good price. The hotel had courteous, professional, friendly staff, who were exceedingly helpful and couldn’t do enough to ensure I had a lovely stay. The hotel was exceptionally clean-as good if not better than many 5* hotels I’ve stayed in. And there was just the most wonderful aroma in the hotel, a clean, fresh scent. Rooms are modern, nice and clean with lovely smelling toiletries and an excellent power shower with lots of hot water. There is a big screen TV and free fast wifi. It was also lovely and quiet and I had a great nights sleep on a very comfortable bed. Excellent facilities with free teas, coffees etc which I drank in the comfortable lounge area. I really couldn’t have asked for more, you have everything you need. I was also travelling alone and as a single woman felt exceedingly safe. I highly recommend and I have already suggested to friends and family to stay there. I shall definitely return. I would say though the price is a little on the high side.

I came not certain of what I would find, and left determined to return. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room clean and cleverly laid out, and the situation quiet and ideal for Bloomsbury. Is it perfect? No. The air con was noisy (despite attempts to sort it) but I was offered an alternative room and given a fan. The room was battered in places, but it didn't matter. Given how awful London hotels can be, this was quite a find

Great service, friendly , helpful staff. Compact room but worked well.... Great location particularly for Oxford Street. . Would definitely recommend due to cleanliness and location. However not much choice for vegan options for breakfast.

Booked this last minute as was meeting friends, first time booking a hub location. Hotel doesn’t look much from the outside (not that that’s an issue) but was super clean, modern and smelt amazing. Check in/out staff were faultless, really friendly and welcoming and helpful. Rooms have all the basics and no issues with WiFi. Only issues were struggled to get hot water in the shower which I did raise on check out and was offered another room to shower in (wasn’t a massive issue I was on my way home but still really good service) and the noise of the cleaners in the hallways- about 9am they were talking to each other for what felt like an hour and continuously bumping the hoover into every single corner of the wall. But would still recommend and still absolutely consider for my next trip.

Obviously location is a major plus situated above Heals. We had a great corner room 329, brilliant shower & a comfy bed. What I really like about the place is you can check in early, drop your bags off & explore the city & do similar when you check out & they look after your bags for the day. Big hotel groups that claim to offer great service could learn alot from these guys.

A great location for getting to and from the parts of London we were visiting. Lovely shops and cafes in immediate area and good transport links. Staff super helpful. Room and bed very compact but comfortable. Communal facilities excellent. Great concept well executed

The hotel was spotlessly clean. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The lounge/bar area was great to relax in with a tea, coffee or alcohol. The contintal breakfast was more than adequate. Everything was lovely and fresh too. I'd be happy to stay again.
