Premier Inn London Docklands (Excel)

Access to this hotel was close to St.Regent's station, although a bit hindered by the building work going on. The room was simple and clean but the bedding felt cheap. There were no shops or restaurants nearby and I was told to book a table if I wanted to have dinner at the hotel, which was a little inconvenient. My booking said I wouldn't have air con in the room but I was in fact giving an aircon room...and you needed it! It's quite noisy in the early evening and from 7am, because you can hear the aircraft taking off and landing into London City Airport. I didn't think the hotel was particularly good value for money.

I stayed at this premier inn with my 2 children & it didn’t disappoint. We have stayed at many of these hotels so know what to expect. Everything was brilliant from the room to the breakfast. Easy access to the train station, this made the whole experience even better!

Hotel was in the middle of nowhere with not much of anything close by. It was clean and bed was comfortable but WiFi signal was very poor so did not use it. Also very noisy from external DLR line and flights from London city airport. The rooms were not sound proof therefore could hear people talking. Kept hearing a banging noise at 4 am. Staff were friendly.

Welcoming, friendly and informative reception. Room clean and tidy, facilities in room plentiful. Breakfast really good price. Parking is free to guest. Even though hotel was having some renovation work done there was no noise or mess in or around hotel. Would definitely stay there again

Clean hotel in good location not far from DLR station. Staff were amazing and so helpful. They went out of the way to help.

Worst premier inn so far we've been to. Unfriendly staff. Room was not cleaned. Mugs and towels not replaced, had to go to reception to get them... Food was stale. Couldn't get good night sleep due to creaking floors and subpar pillows.
