"It's not very close to Rato station, and it's an uphill walk after exiting the station. However, the location was great for me because of the beautiful garden nearby, and it's convenient to get to the Lapa area and Jardim 9 de Abril. You can even combine a visit to MAAT and the Monument to the Discoveries. The hotel is quite new, so the facilities are definitely better than the one on Avenida da Liberdade, but personally, I felt the smell from the renovation hadn't completely dissipated yet."

"We had a great stay at Moon & Sun Hotel in Lisbon. If you’re looking for a centrally located hotel that’s perfect for exploring the city, this is an excellent choice. The location is ideal—within walking distance of major attractions, great restaurants, and public transport, making it easy to discover Lisbon without needing a Taxi/Uber/Bolt. The rooms are modern, stylish, and spotlessly clean. While they are on the smaller side, they’re perfect for travelers who want a comfortable place to rest after a full day of sightseeing. If you’re planning to spend most of your time exploring the city rather than lounging in your room, this hotel offers great value for money. The service was outstanding. The front desk staff spoke fluent English and provided excellent recommendations for places to visit and eat. They were also very accommodating—when I requested a different pillow for better comfort, they replaced it immediately, and when we asked for mint to be brought to our room, they did so at no extra charge. Small gestures like these really made us feel welcome. Overall, Moon & Sun Hotel was exactly what we were looking for—clean, comfortable, and centrally located, with a high level of service. It’s a great option for couples or anyone who wants to explore Lisbon with ease while staying in a well-priced, stylish hotel. We would definitely stay here again!"

"In the famous Indian and Pakistani area, full of dark people. Blame myself for being cheap and not doing any travel guide. Luckily I only stayed one night. This place feels like a rat burrowing in the ground. There is one door to enter, another door and a loft. The bed sheets and pillowcases in the room are all used by others and are not clean. Another problem is the network password. It is different every time, and I can't connect every time. Finally, I had no choice but to call the platform to contact the merchant to solve it. The person on duty was very unhappy and had an extremely bad attitude. The person on duty left at 7-8 pm. No one answered the phone. I left a very bad impression."

The hotel is not the newest, but you can feel the class of service, luxurious breakfasts, wonderful staff, large room. There is a gym and an indoor (transparent roof) swimming pool with a jacuzzi. The main attractions can be reached on foot or by metro. We definitely recommend it before visiting the city or for a business trip (there were a lot of obviously business travelers, even too formally dressed people from all over Europe, and some kind of cozy conferences were taking place in business enterprises)."

"The hotel was easily accessible, being less than a 10-minute walk from the nearest station. The elevator inside the building uses a manual inner door (shutter) for opening and closing. Forgetting to close the inner door when getting off causes the elevator to stop on that floor, and since you don't know which floor it's on, it was inconvenient as I couldn't use it several times (there's only one elevator). While there are instructions on how to use it at check-in and inside the elevator, not everyone follows them, which was a bit stressful. The room doesn't have air conditioning, but it does have a ceiling fan. However, in my room, I couldn't turn it on/off or adjust the fan speed, possibly due to a malfunction in the remote control or receiver. Also, some rooms don't have power outlets by the bed, so those who want to charge their smartphones or other devices might want to bring a long cord. There was a hanger rack, making it easy to organize luggage. The shared bathroom was clean and rarely crowded, making it comfortable to use. Bath towels are provided free of charge. On the other hand, I felt it would be more hygienic if bath mats were provided to each guest, like the bath towels, rather than being shared. The complimentary coffee maker was a nice touch, although it didn't brew properly a few times. The pizza discount coupon received at check-in was a nice little bonus. The room key was required to access the entrance and all floors via stairs and elevators, giving the impression of good security. While there were some areas for improvement in terms of facilities, the cleanliness of the common areas, the convenient location, and the overall security were all satisfactory."
