The hotel is quite new, so the facilities are definitely better than the one on Avenida da Liberdade, but personally, I felt the smell from the renovation hadn't completely dissipated yet."

The rooms are modern, stylish, and spotlessly clean. While they are on the smaller side, they’re perfect for travelers who want a comfortable place to rest after a full day of sightseeing. If you’re planning to spend most of your time exploring the city rather than lounging in your room, this hotel offers great value for money. The service was outstanding. The front desk staff spoke fluent English and provided excellent recommendations for places to visit and eat. They were also very accommodating—when I requested a different pillow for better comfort, they replaced it immediately, and when we asked for mint to be brought to our room, they did so at no extra charge. Small gestures like these really made us feel welcome. Overall, Moon & Sun Hotel was exactly what we were looking for—clean, comfortable, and centrally located, with a high level of service. It’s a great option for couples or anyone who wants to explore Lisbon with ease while staying in a well-priced, stylish hotel. We would definitely stay here again!"

"A simple, clean hotel. I rented a Deluxe room, and I think it's a great option for Lisbon for this price and location. The furniture and decor are very affordable. I saw reviews from other tourists saying they didn't feel safe because of the surroundings. Guys, come on! There are Africans, Arabs, and people from India everywhere! What century are you living in! Most of these people are friendly and welcoming :) There's a laundromat and a cafe with delicious breakfasts two minutes away from the hotel, and the metro, bus stop, and that very same 28 tram are five minutes away. There's also a square nearby with several restaurants with verandas. One night, there was a rock concert somewhere in the building; it was really loud, but by 11 PM everything died down, and I was able to sleep peacefully! Overall, I liked it :)"

According to my aesthetic standards, it's the level of a youth hostel, it shouldn't be so expensive!  This should be a hostel run by an Indian, the English is very poor, and the attitude is not good! The only bright spot is that it is on a hillside with a good view! In short, not recommended! "

"We really loved our stay at Hotel Dorothea. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The property is built in an old fishing village that has been completely remodeled. When we arrived the property manager came out to great us and gave us his cell phone number in case anything came up. He and the rest of the staff was responsive through the entire trip. The room was great. Comfortable, clean and well decorated. The on-prem restaurant was reasonably priced and had a great roof top view of the city. I can't emphasize how accommodating and helpful the staff were during the stay. Every interaction we had was with a friendly face that genuinely wanted to help. We've already recommended this location to friends also visiting Lisbon."
