Casa Das Janelas Com Vista

Beautiful hotel. My daughter and I stayed there at the end of July 2023. We each had a small double If you like space or are sharing a room i would personally say pick one of the bigger rooms. The small double is what it says. There isn't much space to walk round it, just enough space to walk round the bed. That was the only slight negative Check in/check out Really quick and easy the staff give you a map which includes some recommendations for restaurants in the area and their location in relation to the hotel. We needed a taxi our last day to go out to the LX Factory (well worth a visit) and also to take us to the airport all arranged for us by the lovely staff and the taxi company even rang ahead of time to let us know our taxi to the airport was on its way which was really reassuring. Room Very clean Bed very comfortable. We stayed in 3 hotels during our week stay and it had the best pillows. There is a safe in the room the one in my room fitted to the wall and doubled up as a bedside table. There was a small wardrobe built into the wall, we were only there for 3 nights so used the bench for my case, there was enough room for my case and to put my clothes out for the day. Water and glasses provided in the room. There is no fridge but the air con is really good so was able to keep the room really cool and my drinks didn't get too warm. I was in room 8 on the 2nd floor. The room is on the back of the building, has a lovely set of doors that open onto a small balcony with the most amazing view. There are shutters if you like a dark room i left the shutters open as loved the view and light coming through the muslin curtains in the early morning as the sun rose. You do get a bit of noise from guests opening doors but other than that I hardly heard anything. There is no TV in the room my daughter said she had read that you can request one before arrival we didn't ask about it and it was actually a nice change not to have one. Bathroom Small but not cramped well equipped. Had hand wash, body lotion and shampoo so if you don't bring your own you will just need conditioner as that wasn't provided. Great sized towels. The shower was amazing always hot water available and the water pressure probably one of the best I have experienced. There are no lifts in the hotel so a few flights of stairs and communal space on lower ground floor. We had quite large suitcases as away for the week but staff more than happy to help carry the case to the room for you if you need it. I did as i do struggle a bit with stairs so it was really appreciated. Breakfast Breakfast was really lovely considering as well it being a really small hotel there was great choice. It was in the communal area on the lower ground floor. There was a good selection of breads, rolls were so fresh, croissants, meat, cheese, fruit, cereals, jams and a lovely orange cake. Water, freshly squeezed orange juice. There was also tea and coffee, I can't comment

Super comfortable bed, efficient rooms, nice staff, easy checkin, and great location a close walk central to everything on a quiet street.

This place is amazing! It is a beautifully decorated B&B (not a hostel, as described in some reviews), close to everything in the Barrio Alto, and surprisingly affordable. I booked a standard room which turned out to be quite spacious, and the bathroom is enormous! Breakfast is excellent (the owners make delicious eggs upon request). I will definitely stay here again - and would actually prefer it to any luxury accommodation given the amazing customer service. Five stars!

During my brief stopover in Lisbon on my way back to the US, I sought a straightforward yet conveniently located accommodation near some of Lisbon's premier attractions. Casa Das Janelas Com Vista not only met but surpassed my expectations. The communication leading up to my stay was excellent, and the staff accommodated my request for an early check-in, ensuring the front desk was available. The room I was assigned exceeded my expectations, boasting a captivating view of the river from the balcony. If only I had more time in Lisbon to fully savor the charms of this casa! The common area was exceptionally charming, and I found myself wishing I had more time there, basking in its cozy ambiance and unwinding.

We had a large room on the top floor with two doors opening on to a small balcony overlooking the street. Street was pretty quiet except for some late night revelers, but sound proofing was very good. Nice bathroom, comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices (breads, sweet rolls and cakes, cheeses, meats, fruits, and you could request eggs. Lobby and breakfast area charming and welcoming. Staff extremely helpful with information on buses and trolleys, as well as restaurants in the area. They provided us with sandwiches for an early morning departure.

Stay was lovely! Great location for the nightlife as you were really close but still couldn’t hear a thing! Staff were lovely and hotel had a lovely vibe to it! Only complaint would be how the booking was shown on the app! So I’d booked a queen room which I thought was a fair price but when we arrived it was a double with about a feet around the bed as walking space! When looking back at the booking it said “queen requested” which annoyed me a bit! The room was tiny but it’s just where we slept so wasn’t a problem! No tv in room either which would have been nice as the weather wasn’t the driest!

Very clean room. Great staff. Amazing air-conditioned retro-design breakfast room/ living room for relaxing before and after a day’s sightseeing. Close to multiple restaurants in a quiet side street. Definitely worth it ! Not for people who don’t like hills or stairs !

Calmed atmosphere. Pretty window view. Rooms are smaller than expected if you’ re used to standard hotel rooms

I realy had a great stay. In the smallest room but nice interior with care and an eye for details. Also a small balcony and airco. Perfect bed and pillows! Before i was even there i got an email wich made me feel real welcome. Its realy a Casa, made me feel at home. Also nice location. Only 10 minutes walk, up high, to a verry pretty view all over the city and a part of the river. The staff is also nice and helpfull.
