Lijiang Hotels with Airport pickup service

Muyuntang is by far the best ‘minsu’ we’ve ever stayed at. The room is so spacious and clean, the bed is super comfy, the staff is friendly and helpful, we just feel so homey staying here. The location is great, 3mins walk to the Main Street of the South Gate. The homestay is at a relatively quiet area in the ancient city, but also close to the main area. On the last day, I forgot to bring the clothes that I hang at the common area, the staff even helped me to arrange delivery to my next hostel. So grateful for that! Not to mention ‘SI GUA’ the golden retriever of the owner, she is so adorable and well behaved 💜 We totally loved the stay here, and will definitely come back if we revisit Lijiang. Wonderful first time trip to Yunnan. The inn is clean and have all the amenities I need. The staff are very friendly and helpful, speedy assistance when I request for something. The breakfast mixian is yummy. The lady boss provides excellent service. She helped to book all my major transportation to n fro airport, visits to the snow mountain and musical play and even the purchase of tickets. She'll share info of where are the places worth going in Lijiang ancient city. The various shops I went, to take cultural costumes photo and purchase of silver accessories and to eat are recommended by her as well. She even helped me to book the mini tour for my shangri-la trip in between. You can basically ask her anything you need advise for travel in Yunnan. Very glad that I've chosen this place and I'll stay here again if I do come back to Lijiang.

One of the best stays I had in China ~ Facilities were cosy and very clean; the staff were also extremely welcoming, very accommodating and eager to provide guidance on exploring Lijiang (I do really want to highlight that Bivou has a huge list of self organised tours and various workshops, making it a one stop place for your Lijiang travels!). As a big plus, the onsite bivou cafe also provided a decent mix of very tasty local / international food. Not forgetting to mention that it is located at the heart of Shuhe Ancient Town, making it a very convenient spot for you to travel around to various local attractions and enjoy local delicacies.

We booked for 7 nights are this hotel, after searching and reviewing other accommodation options available in Lijiang. We choose this hotel due to the location - on the main road. And walking distance to Black Dragon Pool, Dayan Old Town and bus stops. The room is very cosy and comfortable, clean and spacious. All toiletries are provided. Love the big size double bed. Do take note that the toilet has no lock and the shower area although is separate with the toilet area, it's only divided by a glass panel. Thus, if you are travelling with friends, this might not be convenient. The hotel is strategically located with walking distance to Dayan Old Town and the public bus stops is just a few steps out of the hotel. There are a lot of eatery around the hotel. Very convenient to take the tourist bus or public pub to places of interest. The roof top has a fantastic viewing platform to see Yulong Snow Mountain and you can see the sunrise from here. The breakfast is fantastic too. There's a lot of variety and we didn't get bored for the 7 days breakfast we had in the hotel. The hotel also provided daily yogurt and flower cakes, which you can request from the reception counter and the robot will deliver to your room. There's also free drinks at the receptionist counter. The hotel staff are helpful and courteous. Would strongly recommend this hotel.

Located abit downhill from the main road... Those who bring big hand luggage can contact the hotel earlier to help with the luggage. The male receptionist is very friendly and helpful. Room is very value for money with hot shower and basic amenities.

The hosts were friendly and very helpful. They helped us arrange for a ride to Tiger Leaping Gorge. Inn's location is very close to Mu Museum. Make sure to liaise with them before your trip to arrange for luggage transport into the ancient city as the cobblestones will wreck your luggage wheels. The coffee is free if you stay in the Inn which is a huge plus. The rooms are kept clean and they have dyson hairdryers. The toilets have heated seats. Though for some rooms, shower & toilet area doesn't have a door. The room I got has frosted glass paneling across the middle of the separate shower & toilet cubicles. Overall, highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at this inn, and highly recommend this for anyone looking to stay near Lijiang old town. The inn is located next to the river which leads into old town, about a 10 min walk away, and we liked that it was situated in a quieter area (right next to Heilong Tan/Black Dragon Pool where we walked over for sunrise one morning). The inn is also relatively accessible by car, and we could easily take a Didi or get dropped off on a road just around the corner from the inn - something not to be taken for granted in the old town area. The service staff at the inn were outstanding, and we felt very well taken care of by our host, Xiao Kang 小康. He was very attentive throughout our stay and was easily contactable via WeChat. He gave us a walking tour which helped orient us around the area, and provided many recommendations for sightseeing and meals. The other services provided by the inn were also great, including an afternoon tea which we took by the river and scrumptious daily breakfast.

Facilities: All are very complete, the floor heating is very comfortable and warm, and the amount of water for bathing is large. Hygiene: Very good, very clean and hygienic. Environment: Very distinctive, Yunnan ******* style. And dogs: Gaga and Laiwang are very friendly and cute. Meals: Breakfast is very good. The boss can actually make afternoon tea or something. Hahahaha! Service: Very good, will call in advance for reception, and the luggage is also carried up by the little brother. Departure from the hotel and sent to the car. All the staff are very good. The first time I came to Yunnan, I looked at hotels for 2 days and finally chose Aruo Kangba. Because I brought my children, I wanted to experience a hotel with local characteristics. It was very lucky to choose a hotel that is so comfortable to live in. This hotel, I think it is also comfortable to stay in the hotel without going out. It is fully functional, the boss will also make tea and chat with you, and there is a bonfire party in the backyard... I am really lucky to choose Aruo Kangba! By the way, the boss is very thoughtful and also gave a ******* incense New Year gift! I like it very much and it is very exquisite! All the experiences of super five stars, because of the local customs and human feelings.

Our stay was great. The staff were really welcoming (all communication was in Chinese). The hotel helped arrange a ride from the train station when we arrived late at night, and someone came to help us move our luggage from the parking lot to the hotel, about a five minute walk. We got a free upgrade. The room was amazing, with a huge bathtub. There was no door leading into the bathroom, but a door separated the toilet, and a curtain surrounded the bathtub. The courtyard is beautiful, with plenty of areas to sit and relax. Breakfast was included with our room. There was no coffee during our visit, but the Chinese style breakfast was very good. 😋 If you are planning to go to Jade Dragon Mountain, I would advise contacting the hotel ahead of time to get information on package deals. We tried to buy tickets for Glacier Park the day before, but they were already sold out for the next day. So I would suggest contacting the hotel staff about buying tickets to the mountain and the cable car up the mountain 2 days before you plan to visit the park. They can help you find a good package deal.

Great place, would highly recommend! The rooms are cute and comfy. The location is perfect, sits on the edge of ancient town so its easy to explore or grab a taxi elsewhere. The hotel also has a great coffee shop with picturesque views. The manager was extremely helpful with organizing our airport pickup, booking tours and walking us to fun night spots!
