"The staff here is sooooo cool. As soon as I arrived, they took my heavy luggage and settled me in in a nice room. AC is icy cold, high speed wifi. Room is clean and essential. I had some struggle with using Wechat to pay with a foreign card, and they helped me adding cash to WeChat pay. I was feeling the altitude sickness and they helped me with O2 and effective medicine loco uses. Some details such as they use pressurized O2 bottle as supply instead of the cheap household regenerative ones. They don't charge for bottle of water. These gestures go a long way! Finally, the facility itself is a ******* style courthouse with an art store next to it and location is inside of Barkor street old town. This enabled me to explore near by foot. Even with DIDI, it was quite convient - just about a 5 min walk to get to the pick up spot. I like this place so much I extended my stay!"

"Traveling with a group, we booked two twin rooms and one king room at the Lhasa Chunqiu Oxygen Hotel. The overall experience far exceeded our expectations, and I just had to write a glowing review. The hotel is located in the heart of Lhasa's city center, very close to all the popular attractions, saving us a lot of travel time and making getting around incredibly efficient. All three room types are well-designed and functional. The twin rooms are perfect for friends traveling together, while the king room is ideal for those who prioritize a good night's sleep. All rooms are equipped with oxygen supply and humidifiers, specifically designed to combat the dry, high-altitude environment. We slept exceptionally well every night and experienced absolutely no altitude sickness. The hotel maintains strict hygiene standards; hallways, guest rooms, and the restaurant are cleaned and disinfected daily, ensuring a fresh and clean environment. The service team is warm and attentive. Upon check-in, they thoughtfully explained how to use the oxygen and appliances, and daily housekeeping always replenished bottled water and snacks. Breakfast offered a good balance of meat and vegetables, with both ******* and Western options, satisfying everyone's dietary preferences. The hotel's overall ambiance is tranquil and elegant, a peaceful retreat amidst the bustling city. It allows you to experience the local Lhasa life up close while still enjoying a quiet resting environment. Booking multiple rooms for a group is also discounted and great value. This hotel truly offers an all-around excellent experience – it's definitely our top choice for accommodation in Lhasa!"

"Bringing family to Lhasa, our biggest concerns were altitude sickness and transportation inconvenience, and this guesthouse took good care of both. There was a free nasal oxygen concentrator in the lobby, and some rooms even had individual oxygen machines, which was reassuring for first-time visitors to high altitudes. The receptionist and owner were very attentive, reminding us not to rush, to drink plenty of water, and to rest as much as possible upon arrival. The location was also convenient, within walking distance of the Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, and Barkhor Street. The rooms provided disposable towels, bath towels, and toilet seat covers, making us feel clean and at ease with family. The owner was incredibly welcoming, patiently chatting with my parents and even offering suggestions for our next day's activities. Our stay felt very personal and welcoming, not just a cold, impersonal accommodation."

The room amenities are meticulously thought out, including disposable face towels, and unlimited oxygen diffusion throughout the entire room. In the evenings, they thoughtfully provided a Thermos filled with millet porridge and 'goodnight' milk, so we didn't have to worry about altitude sickness. 2. **Thoughtful and Abundant Breakfast** The breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, paired with fresh fruits, catering to the dietary needs of both adults and children. It was both warming and comforting. There were also exquisite afternoon tea cakes served daily. 3. **Rich ******* Culture Family Experience** The hotel offered many complimentary special activities, and we participated in all of them: Thangka painting, handmade ******* incense making, and singing bowl sound healing. Our child was able to immerse themselves in ******* intangible cultural heritage and learn extensively about ******* culture. 4. **Heartwarming Souvenirs** The room came with complimentary exclusive ******* hats and a collection of Tsangyang Gyatso's poetry, which are incredibly memorable and allowed us to bring home unique memories and the poetry of the snow-covered land. 5. **Excellent Professional Service** A huge thank you to the front desk lady, the beautiful Gacao, who was enthusiastic and meticulous throughout our stay. She helped us book activities in advance and patiently responded to all our requests. Her service was professional, gentle, and thorough. Whether you're traveling with family or seeking some solitude, Vanlen is the top choice for accommodation in Lhasa. I've already recommended it to all my friends and family planning to visit Tibet. "Extremely poor experience. The front desk gave me cold water when I asked for warm water, and my altitude sickness was severe. The hotel promised oxygen would be available at 8 PM, but by 8:30 PM there was still no oxygen. The oxygen machine wasn't working and they didn't come to adjust it for ages. The late-night porridge was also nowhere to be seen. I've stayed at several Atour hotels, but the one in Lhasa was truly disappointing!"

"The room is very new and the decoration is very artistic. Dyson hair dryer, Marshall speakers, capsule coffee machine, really very practical. I didn't see the Jo Malone shower gel that was commented on before. The room is relatively small. The housekeeper was very considerate to turn on the humidifier. As a result, after eating, the quilt and pillow were all wet. The housekeeper worked hard to change the quilt cover and pillowcase. There was a thunderstorm in the middle of the night, the room was stuffy, and it was very uncomfortable to sleep. The breakfast was very clean and exquisite, especially the small buns, which were delicious. You can also park in the alley in front of the homestay. The housekeeper suggested parking in the parking lot across the road, which is a little inconvenient. You can see the back of the Potala Palace from the roof, and it's okay to take pictures. The location is a bit far from the Potala Palace and Barkhor Street. It's too much for children to walk from the homestay. In short, it's not as good as the comments, maybe the expectations are too high."
