Every staff member had a smile on their face and was very attentive. Secondly, the hotel rooms are very clean, and the shower gel, shampoo, toothpaste and toothbrush used are all good brands.  When I passed the reception when I was leaving, the staff immediately handed me a bottle of water and told me to drink more water when I went out. It was very thoughtful. I had dinner and lunch at the hotel, both were very good and the portions were sufficient. I also went to the hotel bar in the evening. The bartender was very professional and the drinks were delicious. Highly recommended, if you go to Lhasa, you must stay in this hotel!

During this trip to Tibet, I stayed at the Sunshine Hotel in Lhasa for 2 days. Entering the lobby gives me a low-key and elegant feeling. Entering the lobby is the warm and kind greeting of Xiao Chen at the front desk. The room is clean and tidy. The staff are very professional and skilled in responding to my consultation. The problem is excellent. I am very satisfied with being able to provide services to guests in time. Compared to other Trip five-diamond hotels, the price is very high. And the hotel has a good view of the window. But there are still two problems. One is that air conditioning uses central control, and cannot heat in summer. Although summer cooling is enough for Lhasa locals, it is difficult for foreigners to call the climate warm even in Lhasa in summer. The second is that the location is a bit biased. The hotel is on the easternmost side of Lhasa, not far from a Wanda Mall, a bookstore and Tibet University. The Million Serf Liberation Memorial Hall seems to have been moved to the Tibet Museum. So there are not many attractions around. Although the hotel is not far from the bus, it still needs to take a taxi in the case of time constraints. Overall, this hotel is very cost-effective and is very suitable for the first few days of high anti-reverse.

It is close to large supermarkets, hotels, nightlife areas and hospitals, and the surrounding citywalk is quite comfortable.

1. Service. The hotel was booked many days in advance, and a family of three booked a twin room specifically for sleeping comfort. On the morning of check-in, the hotel called to confirm and made it clear how many people would be staying. But when I came to check in at around 8 pm, I was told that the twin room was no longer available and the room I booked had been given to someone else. I was really speechless. Standing at the front desk for a long time can't solve it. At first, I was told that I would cancel the order and then book the Tibetan-style building, but I couldn’t book it on the same day, and the Tibetan-style building was not displayed on the platform. Later, he said that he could coordinate a room without air conditioning. It would be freezing in Lhasa in winter? After more than half an hour, it still couldn't be solved. I finally said, if it doesn't work, please give me an extra bed in the double room, so that I can sleep comfortably. It turned out that I was asked to add money myself, which was simply ridiculous. Finally, we were told to call the manager to apply and asked us to wait in the lobby for a while. Finally, after waiting for an hour, we were told that we could add an extra bed for free. 2. Room facilities are relatively old. It is no different from all hotels with place name + hotel + VIP building. 3. The breakfast was terrible, totally sorry for the quality of the hotel.

As for the service, I can only say that there are no major mistakes, but the emergency response ability is too poor. When encountering emergencies, the service staff did not make me feel that they handled it well, and their ability to solve problems needs to be strengthened. We have also communicated with the person in charge of the hotel. Next time if we encounter conflicts with hotel guests, I hope we will do better in the future, instead of just apologizing and making peace. Diffuse oxygen supply: This is really a very important system. After all, Lhasa is still at a very high altitude, and rest at night is very important. With this oxygen supply system, you can really sleep well at night, and their bedroom shading effect is very good. Once the curtains are drawn and the lights are turned off, it is pitch dark and very quiet. It is really nice to sleep. Daily afternoon tea (only available in the designated afternoon tea area of ​​the hotel): We did not have afternoon tea due to time constraints. Welcome fruit: The welcome fruit is not very delicious, especially sour, and it feels like it has been left for a long time. Then they will make the bed for you at night, and they will give you the Tremella soup they prepared when you come. Very considerate, right? It gives you a feeling.

The hotel upgraded our room, provided us with an extra bed, allowed us late check-out and provided smiling/prompt service. Overall a very good experience.

We were suppose to stay at the intercontinental on our last night but decided to stay at Shangri-La. The buffet was amazing and having the oxygen bar to relax was superb! Thank you
