This is an outstanding small hotel with friendly and professional staff and we have been staying in both winter and summer for many years The food and wine list is quite simply unbeatable. The location is close to several lifts and the car park I look forward to visiting in the year to come.

Have just spent a week here on a ladies ski trip. The hotel, although quaint and rustic looking on the outside, was recently renovated and was so modern and stylish but still reflected its mountain surroundings. The room was spacious, with 2 single beds, a sofa and small kitchen table. The bathroom was large and modern. The food was unbelievable. You must book half board as the meals each night were outstanding. Our waitresses, Martina and Regina, were professional and anticipated our every request. I cannot recommend this family owned hotel high enough.

I went to the Sandhof hotel during mid January with my sister, and our stay was impecable. The hotel staff was very warm to its guests, the rooms were always tidy and clean, and the breakfast had a vast mount of food and very diverse options. At dinner, the plates were very well presented and the hot chocolate was always a must (at any time of the day). There is a special room for your skis if you carry any, and there are heaters for your boots to dry. There is also a great sauna and massage room. When we had just arrived, Martin recommended to rent the skis at Skibex which is located almost next door to the hotel, and the staff there was excellent too. Everything in town was at walking distance. The Arlberg Express bus stop was just in front of the hotel as well as the ski school and Oberlech lift which made it really easy to get everywhere in a second. Overall, everything was great and it was an awesome experience. Would definitely recommend for anyone who is looking for a warm, family hotel.

Sandhof is a very cosy hotel and you are met with a friendly hospitality. The rooms are nice and well equipped. The restaurant offers a rich breakfast buffet and the dinners are delicious. The hotel is situated in central Lech near the ski lifts.

Stayed here for 3 nights and found this to be an excellent hotel. The room was not huge but had plenty of storage and very modern facilities including a powerful spacious shower. The room was spotlessly clean and cleaned well every day. The breakfast here is very good indeed. Massive selection of hot and cold dishes with eggs cooked to order and plenty of variety of juices and extras, I liked the fresh juicing station for energising carrot and mixed juices. We never ate here but we used the bar a lot and it is very cosy - with a log fire - and had plenty of relaxed seating. There is table service and every person we encountered was super friendly and helpful. The staff in this hotel were all round excellent in my opinion. The boot room is easy to access and has plenty of storage. The main ski lift area is about a 5 min walk but there is a smaller lift only 2 mins away which will take you up the mountain and you can ski across to oberlech easily from there. Great hotel and highly recommended.

Modern ski lodge accommodations. The bathrooms are updated and offer a lovely, spacious shower. Hotel is close to plenty of restaurants. The staff made check-in and check-out easy. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Sandhof and would return or recommend to friends!

We have just returned from a magical week at the Hotel Sandhof where I went with a group of family and friends - plus dog. ! Location wise it must be one of the best in Lech only minutes walk from the Gondola. However more importantly I cannot praise the service too highly. It was exemplary. The staff were so friendly and efficient , The breakfast set you up for a day on the slopes and although we did not have half board the meals looked excellent. Next time we will book half board . I have stayed in many 5 starthotels whilst skiing - and yes they may be more luxurious but the Sandhof makes up for that in its amazing levels of service and friendliness. Lech will now be my skiing destination of choice and the Sandhof my hotel. thank you for an unforgettable stay

Came back last weekend. It was our third visit to Hotel Sandhof and we plan to come back again next year! Great rooms! Fantastic food! Super nice staff and marvellous owner/host! The location is unbeatable, literally 100m from the gondola lift to Oberlech.

We couldn't have been happier with the hotel, the staff, the food, the location. Hotel Sandhof excelled in absolutely every way. Pre dinner drinks by the fire in the bar, delicious meals every night, across the road from the gondola, and not a party bar within earshot so apart from the beautiful sounds of the church bells nearby, you will sleep soundly in a very comfortable bed. I would highly recommend Hotel Sandhof.
