Ulasan Tanjung Rhu Resort, Langkawi

Great value for money! While the hotel is a bit outdated, it compensates with its excellent location, cleanliness, and the professionalism of the staff. However, a downside is the absence of bottled water in the room — instead, water is provided in a carafe, which, in our opinion, has an unusual taste.

Great & huge hotel, excellent service. The Cagayan Suite room is spacious enough for 4 pax and the bathroom is really nice. Facilities are adequate, there are 2 huge pools for family and adults. Breakfast is nice too.

The service is prefect and friendly staff every way. They are very kind staff willing to help. The resort have a very beautiful view.But there is one thing that needs to improve is the food.

Rooms are big and while old but well cleaned and managed Staff all are very polite Landscape and nature is great The beach is the best. Very clean , white sands , Long Beach and never crowded Plenty of sun beds Breakfast mainly Malaysian food but it’s ok.

Very nice resort in a remote area.  Room decoration is very natural and upscale. Bathroom is very spacious. Service is pleasant. The swimming pool is beautiful and well maintained. The beach is as good as it can be on Langkawi. Overall feeling is "quiet luxury". And let's not forget about breakfast with champagne and eggs benedict. minor cons: - gym is not up to 5 star standards and strongly smells rubber; - order a taxi in advance, it can take a good half an hour for it to arrive here and then another half an hour to get to the airport; - the beach is only partly private, and the staff doesn't much care to keep sometimes noisy groups of tourists outside; - all my a la carte orders in restaurant had some issues. Not 5 stars standards again.

Great Resort, perfect location, amazing staff

Overall I loved the hotel and would stay there again. The beach there is amazing. The staff and the service were great. But it would be great to organise some activities for the guests, daily yoga, live music and so on. Because it can get pretty boring if you choose a longer stay because there's nothing around. The breakfast is fine but not 5 star hotel. More varieties would make it better. And the check-in is very late, I arrived after 1 and had to wait till exactly 3 pm. It was raining so couldn't really enjoy the outside. In general it's a nice hotel and I'd recommend it

The resort is very good. Service is excellent. 2 pools. Good food. Breakfast includes in all rooms. Very good breakfast with sparkling wine. The private beach is among the best in Langkawi. Not expensive for a 5 stars resort. We like it because it's not in the crowd area like Cenang beach. We took GRAB to Cenang for shopping. It cost only US$6.35. We are planning to stay at Tanjong Rhu when we come back to Langkawi. Highly recommended.

The service of the resort is really good. It’s really accommodating. The staff is also very good. The staff Linda is also very nice, and she helped with arrangements of dinner anniversary. The room is also very nice , and it was managed well.

Great place to relax with awesome and private beach away from hustle and hustle of tourist belt. Worth the long drive from airport. Excellent facilities on site for both the young and old. Great buffet breakfast spread too!

Hotel with private beach, very big and comfortable room. Staff prepared simple deco for our celebration 👍🏼

Came to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday but was not disappointed. They’ve prepared a cake which was really sweet of them! Hotel is located quite far in tanjong rhu, so it may be quite difficult to get a grab to get out. we needed to go to Pantai cenang one day for jet skiing, and there was no grab drivers around even after hailing 30min. However the hotel was really nice to help us call a taxi, but even for them to arrive at the hotel it took 20 min due to the distance. We were quite late for our jet skiing that day, so do plan your trip well and leave way earlier. However, this gave us a lot of privacy which is great. We practically had the private beach to ourselves and there isn’t much people using it. The beach is also very pretty! Great for people who want a getaway from crowds and city. Rooms are huge, and they have given amenities such as bath salt for your stay. However, not all channels of Tv is working (Netflix etc) even though it’s written on the leaflet they’ve printed for each room. One night, we tried to call the hotel to clear our dirty dishes but no one picked up across reception, housekeeping, in room dining even though we were calling for 1 hour. Overall we really loved our stay. The people were nice and it’s really a great value based on what you pay. I’ll let the pictures show you this amazing resort :)

Nice hotel with a nice view. The room is very spacious with an extra 2 sofa beds. I really enjoy the privacy there. Staff are also friendly and helpful. I will definitely repeat it again in the future.
