Basic hotel but in an ideal location short walk to Sauchihall Street, great restaurants close by. Antipasti if you like Italian. Sichuan house, brilliant Chinese restaurant. The staff at the hotel were very helpful. Free WiFi also a free drink from the bar. We didn't have breakfast we went out to eat but there is breakfast for an extra £12 per day if you prefer.

The hotel staff were very welcoming. I had to find my original email to prove we had paid for breakfast as it wasn't on there system? Good location with a varied breakfast and plenty of choices treated out in the locality, as well as the hotel. Almost forgot...a complimentary drink when we arrived. We mentioned at the point of departure that the room was simply too hot and we could not alter it, even though the window was open.

The hotel is located to close amenities. The hotel is clean beds are comfortable and have all the basic that is needed. Breakfast was 10/10. Staff were warm friendly. A big shout out to James and all the staff for being so kind and providing excellent customer service. Had a an early flight into Glasgow which meant we were up at 3am and arrived at 8:30am. We were allowed early check in, which was like water in the desert. We were exhausted and was able to sleep and rest. Beds were so comfy and gave us a quiet room. I would definitely stay again. My 1st trip to Glasgow, Scotland and the staff made it amazing. We had a late flight and was able to leave our luggage then come back and wait til we had to leave for airport. Would recommend don’t hesitate just book it!! You won’t regret.

Made the booking approximately two weeks in advance and requested (1) a quiet room on a higher floor and (2) 2pm checkout as IHG member (this is standard in Holiday Inn Express in the UK). Upon arrival both requests were ignored and the staff made no additional efforts to address those. Location is good. Breakfast was acceptable, not good.

I stayed when visiting for a concert so I checked in, dumped my bags and left. The hotel had great décor and was very central. The room itself was a very nice. Great shower. Our twin beds were close enough that we were pretty much in a double.

I am rarely 'blown away' by hotels but Citizen M truly blew me away and exceeded all my expectations. First of all, the staff member who greeted me was super friendly, asked me about my trip and the check in process was probably the easiest, fastest and most modern process I have ever experienced anywhere. When I walked into the room, I almost thought I walked into the wrong room because the size of the bed was HUGE (much bigger and better in real life than displayed in the pictures). The room itself was also much bigger than I expected, and so very modern and 'cool' like a spaceship. It had a homely feel and had some truly unique features like an ipad to control the TV, the lights (brightness and colour - very cool again!!), blinds (and more) and you could even play games with the lights. There was a moment where I truly felt I could spend an entire day just in the hotel room because it was so fun being in there and I looked forward to coming home to my hotel every night.

Lokasinya bagus di pinggir Merchant City dan sebagian besar tempat bisa dijangkau dengan berjalan kaki atau naik kereta bawah tanah lokal dengan cepat. Kamar-kamarnya bersih dan area pelayanannya bagus. Sarapannya ber***a Eropa standar dan cukup baik, tetapi sesuatu yang hangat akan lebih baik karena Glasgow bisa dingin di musim dingin. Bangunannya ber***a lama sehingga berderit dan Anda bisa mendengar orang lain berjalan-jalan atau jika ada keluarga yang berisik, maka itu akan menjadi cerita kebisingan yang berbeda. Meskipun demikian, saya tetap merekomendasikannya.

TTamuThe hotel was perfect from the friendly reception staff on arrival to the breakfast the following morning. The room was immaculate, not new and sparkly, but tastefully decorated with quality well maintained equipment, fittings and furnishings. All the basics, bed, shower, toilet and basin worked and performed superbly. Bedding, covers, sheets and pillows were pristine, crisp, and the mattress was exceedingly comfortable. Plenty of hanging space, iron and board, hairdryer and fridge. Spotlessly clean. Service for breakfast was unusually efficient for a large hotel. They knew exactly how to cope with a busy breakfast service. Buffet for drinks and cold items, service for Cooked. The full scottish breakfast kept me going all day. Will definitely return to this hotel.

Friendly and helpful staff always willing to serve you 24x7. Value for money. Exceeded my and my family's expectations. Thanks you team for making our stay memorable. Would definitely recommend and love to stay with you again.

CCARY2707The hotel and the room is good n the location is kind of convenient but there is no indication for the shortest route there. Actually the kitchen food there was really good, however, it is not available after 20:00. Therefore, I had to go outside again for food after a long day for sightseeing. Therefore, I suggest the hotel can think about prolonging the kitchen time to let more people enjoy their food.

TTamuFriendly waiter/bar staff in Steven. Beer - very good. Ambience very good. Ate out for dinner. Heating in room very erratic, only works when cars in. So room cold on return. Disabled room, bathroom door opens right out into room and moves fast with no stopper, middle of the night I head butted door on opening it as it swung away. No lasting damage done but a bit dangerous. Partner said bathroom freezing during night. Breakfast bang average - no traditional Scottish tattie scones, no scrambled egg and fried eggs are white of an uncooked type. Despite asking twice for a flipped fried egg - same white silicone esque rubber circle. Defo not edible. Waiter rude to my partner when asked about replacement. Clearly no frying facilities being used. The milk of which I had a glass of was the wateriest milk and most unpleasant taste - was it Uht? Or powdered with water added? Baked beans and sausages very tasty. No HP or Heinz sauces. Some of bread poor quality. Coffee from a work style urn. Not very modern. Parking overpriced and car which had been washed prior to arriving was filthy on departure with a brown layer of dirt on it. I note that website chooses to mention under Historic Sites: Hampden Park and Celtic Park: 4.0mi | 14 min drive Funny that Ibrox Stadium - with the iconic Main Stand which is closer than the above is not given a mention. Bigotry alive in well in the hotel establishment management. Won’t be returning or recommending.

For a short stay, it was exactly what I needed—convenient, practical, and saved a lot of time wandering around. No major complaints; it made the visit smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend for anyone on a quick getaway!

It's about 10 minutes walking distance from Glasgow Central Station and within 15 minutes from fast food eateries and shopping places. Rooms are clean and basic amenities are provided for. Breakfast is good and incorporates a mix of international and English cuisines. HOWEVER, I have had a bad experience regarding a certain payment. I booked this hotel via Trip.com and have prepaid for my stay. When I checked in on 17/7, I was told by the receptionist of that day that my card details were needed. I was assured that there would be no deduction performed and that the details were only required should there be incurred damages in my room during the stay. Yet, on the same day evening, I received a notification that 143 pounds had been deducted. I questioned the receptionist of that day and was reassured, and I quote: ”There was this transaction made to confirm that your card is not a dunce and is payable.” The next day, before checking out, I reconfirmed with the receptionist of that day (18/7) if the money would be refunded to me. After checking on their end, they said that the money will be refunded. This morning (19/7), I have just received another notification that the status of the 143-pounds transaction has changed from pending to approved. I am disappointed and upset regarding this, and I would like to urge future travellers to be wary of this incident.

AAndrew SearA comfortable hotel and good value for money. However finding it was an unexpected challenge. Walking from Hyndland station what appeared to be the hotel appeared as I passed the hospital on the left. But where was the entrance? No signs along the footpath, so turned left onto Great Western Road to arrive at a petrol station. I could see the Leonardo , but again no entrance and no obvious way to find one. So, off I set back to the road where the hospital was located. I could see the hotel but no sign of any reception. Eventually I walked round the back and found my way in. Only the following morning did I discover that there was a pedestrian cut through to the petrol station I've been to many hotels in my 73 years, but this one went out of it's way to play hard to find. Maybe the owners assume everyone will arrive car and their satnav will guide them . My advice to the owners. Put some signs up

TTamuMuch more basic than expected. Bed was made up of two singles which barely stayed together through the night. Tea and coffee facilities were poor as were the toiletries. Not worth the price at all. Breakfast at £14 per head was totally overpriced. Food was luke warm and very bland. Will not be back.
