"I came here with my family for a 4 days holiday trip. Thw hotel is very nice, tidy, staff are very friendly. Booked a falimy room for 3 including a 3 yers old child but get a single ber extra ๐ which made my wife little off. Otherwise the hotel is 10/10. The main bus station is just 2.5 km away from the hotel. A bus stop right outside. Other transpot servives are close to the hotel as well. University of Glasgow and Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum is 5 minutes walking distance."

"This is a lovely traditional looking hotel in an plush upmarket suburb of Glasgow. We were attending a concert at Bellahouston Park so was an ideal location. The room we had was spacious and clean, the service from the staff was exemplary and should we be in a the area again would consider staying there."

"Great room, very spacious and amazing view out on the river and SEC. Some basic things such as the very old AC panel and low quality bathroom door, and toilet seat were a bit surprising. Also placement of sockets is a bit of a nightmare, just to make tea you have to lift the whole tray and put the kettle next to your bed. The fridge was also not plugged in and if i wanted to use it I think i would have to pull it all the way out. Other than these small things my stay was great and I appreciate the complimentary snacks and waters."

"Didnt quote understand the idea of not giving two keys to a couple and then having it back whenever leaving. They even took my card details on arrival, which is fine. There was no label to hang on the door to prevent them from cleaning.
The next morning when we came back from a quick tour, toilets towels looked changed. That felt kind of sneaky. We should have been told what to expect. And the mirrors position were quite odd in the toilet and the room. The staff was lovely and the location was useful tho. I loved the fried egg breakfast!
Ohh and the kettle needed cleaning!"

"Easy check out and check in. The hotel was very clean and close to shops for food and University of Glasgow. Breakfast was standard and the kitchen made me the type of eggs I wanted. The room was clean though the shower cubicle was too small. The room temperature was comfortable for us. The hotel staff Lulu was very helpful, he allowed us to keep our luggages past check out time. All in all a good experience"

"From the moment I booked this hotel it was all perfect!
Perfection improved when we got a free upgrade.
The reception staff were very professional.
The hotel is modern and clean.
Room was really clean with crisp white bedding and pristine modular type bathroom.
There was a hairdryer (as expected) , there was an iron and ironing board (not expected).
The hotel is extremely central but there was little or no street noise for being next to a city road and above a Wetherspoons and our room was only on the first floor. Bath towels were sparkling clean and a great size. In room soaps etc were very nice too.
I had a great sleep however my husband has a less than perfect sleep due to my snoring and having a lovely comfy bed. Ha ha!
I will definitely have this as a go to hotel when Iโm in Glasgow. 10/10 for a great visit."

TTamuThe hotel was perfect from the friendly reception staff on arrival to the breakfast the following morning.
The room was immaculate, not new and sparkly, but tastefully decorated with quality well maintained equipment, fittings and furnishings.
All the basics, bed, shower, toilet and basin worked and performed superbly.
Bedding, covers, sheets and pillows were pristine, crisp, and the mattress was exceedingly comfortable.
Plenty of hanging space, iron and board, hairdryer and fridge. Spotlessly clean.
Service for breakfast was unusually efficient for a large hotel. They knew exactly how to cope with a busy breakfast service. Buffet for drinks and cold items, service for Cooked. The full scottish breakfast kept me going all day.
Will definitely return to this hotel.

Friendly and helpful staff always willing to serve you 24x7.
Value for money. Exceeded my and my family's expectations.

CCARY2707The hotel and the room is good n the location is kind of convenient but there is no indication for the shortest route there.
Actually the kitchen food there was really good, however, it is not available after 20:00. Therefore, I had to go outside again for food after a long day for sightseeing. Therefore, I suggest the hotel can think about prolonging the kitchen time to let more people enjoy their food.

TTamuFriendly waiter/bar staff in Steven. Beer - very good. Ambience very good. Ate out for dinner. Heating in room very erratic, only works when cars in. So room cold on return. Disabled room, bathroom door opens right out into room and moves fast with no stopper, middle of the night I head butted door on opening it as it swung away. No lasting damage done but a bit dangerous. Partner said bathroom freezing during night.
Breakfast bang average - no traditional Scottish tattie scones, no scrambled egg and fried eggs are white of an uncooked type. Despite asking twice for a flipped fried egg - same white silicone esque rubber circle. Defo not edible. Waiter rude to my partner when asked about replacement. Clearly no frying facilities being used. The milk of which I had a glass of was the wateriest milk and most unpleasant taste - was it Uht? Or powdered with water added? Baked beans and sausages very tasty. No HP or Heinz sauces. Some of bread poor quality. Coffee from a work style urn. Not very modern.
Parking overpriced and car which had been washed prior to arriving was filthy on departure with a brown layer of dirt on it.
I note that website chooses to mention under Historic Sites: Hampden Park and Celtic Park: 4.0mi | 14 min drive
Funny that Ibrox Stadium - with the iconic Main Stand which is closer than the above is not given a mention. Bigotry alive in well in the hotel establishment management.

SSapphirexIbis Styles Glasgow Central is a good location to stay should you intend to layover in Glasgow. It's about 10 minutes walking distance from Glasgow Central Station and within 15 minutes from fast food eateries and shopping places. Rooms are clean and basic amenities are provided for. Breakfast is good and incorporates a mix of international and English cuisines.
HOWEVER, I have had a bad experience regarding a certain payment. I booked this hotel via Trip.com and have prepaid for my stay. When I checked in on 17/7, I was told by the receptionist of that day that my card details were needed. I was assured that there would be no deduction performed and that the details were only required should there be incurred damages in my room during the stay. Yet, on the same day evening, I received a notification that 143 pounds had been deducted. I questioned the receptionist of that day and was reassured, and I quote: โThere was this transaction made to confirm that your card is not a dunce and is payable.โ
The next day, before checking out, I reconfirmed with the receptionist of that day (18/7) if the money would be refunded to me. After checking on their end, they said that the money will be refunded. This morning (19/7), I have just received another notification that the status of the 143-pounds transaction has changed from pending to approved. I am disappointed and upset regarding this, and I would like to urge future travellers to be wary of this incident.

TTamuBasic hotel but in an ideal location short walk to Sauchihall Street, great restaurants close by. Antipasti if you like Italian. Sichuan house, brilliant Chinese restaurant.
The staff at the hotel were very helpful. Free WiFi also a free drink from the bar. We didn't have breakfast we went out to eat but there is breakfast for an extra ยฃ12 per day if you prefer.

AAndrew SearA comfortable hotel and good value for money.
However finding it was an unexpected challenge. Walking from Hyndland station what appeared to be the hotel appeared as I passed the hospital on the left. But where was the entrance? No signs along the footpath, so turned left onto Great Western Road to arrive at a petrol station. I could see the Leonardo , but again no entrance and no obvious way to find one. So, off I set back to the road where the hospital was located. I could see the hotel but no sign of any reception. Eventually I walked round the back and found my way in. Only the following morning did I discover that there was a pedestrian cut through to the petrol station
I've been to many hotels in my 73 years, but this one went out of it's way to play hard to find.
Maybe the owners assume everyone will arrive car and their satnav will guide them .
My advice to the owners. Put some signs up
