"I booked this hotel for its great location. The Buchanan Bus station is just a 3min walk away. That's where you take the bus to/from the Airport, Edinburgh and where all the tour buses depart. It's a 5min walk to the busy Buchanan pedestrian street. The room is cozy and the bed is very comfy. There are no amenities in this Holiday Inn so basically, you are just staying for the room."

"This is a Youth Hostel, former hunting lodge located on the edge of Loch Lomond. The location is a beautiful setting and the building is very in keeping with an old hunting lodge style. I arrived before it opened at 4 pm and tested the cold waters of the Loch. It is serviced by a ferry on weekends and also has parking. I stayed in a clean 3 bunk bed female dorm room. Showers were clean. There was a kitchen where you could prepare your own food available to the tenters as well. You could order dinner, breakfast and a packed lunch if you were heading up the Loch on the West Highland Way the next day. Lunch was a sandwhich, crisps, water and an assortment of cookies and chocolate treats. Access to the breakfast foods consisting of toast, jam, cereals and yogurt could have been set out in a more organized manner. The coffee was good though. The best part of this place was the large common living room complete with 2 large picture windows overlooking the Loch. The room was also stocked with books, games, wall maps and historical photos of the Lodge. If you are into staying at Youth Hostels and love buildings with character and fantastic views, then this is for you."

"Stayed here 3 times now. Main issue is the staff who are hit and miss depending who you get. Only once have they been lovely and helpful. The other two times... the opposite of that !. Especially when they can't be bothered to check you in and expect you to do it. 1st time I stayed I couldnt get a place at all in the restaurant. 2nd time I did, but I saw them turning other people away saying they were full. I counted, there were 8 people including me. I didnt bother the 3rd time as the service is slow, the food barely average, and the pub over the road is much better ! I think the only plus is the rooms have generally been ok. Except the guide is out of date on the TV, its been locked with a password so it can't be retuned, which would be fine if maintenance kept on top of it.. but theu don"'t. I'm not planning on staying here a 4th time mainly because of the attitude of certain staff. Oh and they're still building parts of it I think."

Setelah menunjukkan bukti tersebut, lagi-lagi tidak dapat mencocokkan nomornya, seseorang tiba-tiba berkata ada orang di kamar tersebut, yang ternyata adalah teman saya yang kemudian mereka hubungi untuk konfirmasi. Akhirnya, ketika saya sampai di kamar, kartu ucapan ditujukan kepada Judith_David, tidak ada hubungannya dengan pemesanan kami. Tidak ada perlengkapan dasar seperti topi mandi, minimal dua kantong teh dan susu. Kamar yang suram menghadap area tempat sampah, yang membuat kami terbangun tiga kali di tengah malam karena botol-botol tumpah, sehingga tidur kami sangat terganggu. Menghadiri acara di hotel dan selama setiap hidangan, tempat duduk saya tidak diatur, saya harus memanggil pelayan untuk mengatasi hal ini. Teh datang lagi, tetapi saya tidak diatur, akhirnya teh dibawakan, tetapi air yang disajikan ke meja kami berwarna pucat dan terang, jelas mereka tidak memasukkan cukup kantong teh untuk teko, jadi saya harus kembali dengan kantong teh fisik agar orang-orang dapat memasukkannya ke dalam cangkir mereka. Jadi, sekali lagi, bukan pengalaman yang baik. Saat tiba, staf tidak membantu, tetapi saat keberangkatan, resepsionis meminta maaf dan mengatakan kamar tersebut sudah dialokasikan untuk orang lain. "Amazing location, very clean and great service. Super close to walk from main station. We stayed in the premium en-suite room and it was very clean and spacious. Lots of great reccomendations from the staff! I would say that unless you are up late the stay might not be the best for people who want to sleep early during weekends due to it being above a club, but they make this very clear on bookings and provide ear plugs. We will be back! :D"
