Hotel dekat Teater Edinburgh Playhouse, Edinburgh

Beautiful inside since refurbishment and extremely clean . Staff so welcoming and cant do enough for you . Hotel right on Princess Street so very central, beds comfortable and sheets so soft . Breakfast buffet was incredible. Would definitely return .

This hotel was in a great location. 5 minutes walk from the shopping mall. 2 minutes walk from the tram stop and only 10 minutes walk to some of the main attractions in Edinburgh. The staff at the desk were extremely polite and helpful and even looked after our bags when we checked out so we could go and see another sight in Edinburgh before leaving. The only downside is due to this being an old building there was no elevator available which didn’t affect us but would be an issue for elderly or disabled people.

Location: Very conveniently located right across a couple of bus stops and also a few steps away from Ocean Terminal tram stop. The Oean Terminal has a few well known brand outlets which we did not visit but if you have nothing else to do, it could be a nice way to spend your time. Also the Royal Britannia Yacht is right there. Cleanliness and facilities: just as expected from IHG, very clean and also the facilities that we wanted: luggage storage, a simple bar/ restaurant and hot breakfast. Nothing extraordinary but absolutely essential. Note: scrambled eggs could be better. Service: OK, as expected. We had already sent a note saying we were going to arrive between 1 AM and 1:30 AM, and when we came to the reception around 1:15 AM, they promptly delivered the keys and on the inside of the card was written ”no show”. Which means the reception doing the night shift never saw our note and had already marked us as possible ”no show”. It did not hurt us, but I did not like the fact they never read our note, it shows the impersonal nature of their service. Therefore I deducted one star. Note: The cranberry tea is a nice selection. It helped my headache. Thanks.

Very very satisfied. Location. I like this. Although not in the middle of the city, but its very easy to go there by bus and stop at commonwealth pool. There are 2 entrance via holyrood park rd and Dalkeith rd. To go there with luggage, after bus stop. Walk to Holyrood park rd and entrance via main entrance. You will see the reception centre.

Since we booked the room very early, I'm not sure if it was a mistake on my part or the hotel's part. My friend and I had booked a room with two beds, but the rooms in the pictures all had two beds for one person! When we checked in and went to the room, we saw that it was just a big bed, so we immediately went to the front desk to express this situation. After just ten minutes, they changed the room for us to a room with two beds! Thank you for your active assistance! gratitude!

The customer service is super great, the room location is awesome with the nice view from outside. Very convenient to take bus and train just right outside the hotel!!! That’s is so so so convenient for me and my friend .

This is a rather disappointing stay. I hope we can get a proper compensation. 1. The bathroom does not have any basic toiletries, not even hand soap. We had to go down to reception to ask and was given hand lotion and told that it works as hand soap?!? 2. Breakfast is not ready at 7am. Breakfast is supposed to serve from 7 - 10am. On first morning, breakfast spread was not complete because chef came to work late. (Photo shows what was available to guests). We had to leave to catch our day tour bus so we barely ate anything. On the next day, no breakfast was served because there was issues with gas. 3. Room cleaning was not complete. Room cleaning only made the beds and refreshed the towels. The dustbins were not emptied and the toilet papers were not replenished.

Kamarnya cukup bersih dan lokasinya sangat bagus. Letaknya tepat di kota tua Edinburgh dan sangat mudah untuk pergi ke mana saja. Satu-satunya kekurangannya adalah tempat tidurnya mengeluarkan banyak suara dan juga sangat berisik saat orang berjalan memasuki kamar. Setiap orang harus menyiapkan penyumbat telinga. Itu bukan masalah besar. Untungnya lokasinya strategis dan ada bar di lantai bawah. Bir Skotlandia itu enak.

Nilai uangnya luar biasa. Sarapannya biasa saja. Lokasinya dekat dengan stasiun kereta Haymarket, tetapi tidak ada layanan bus, jadi Anda harus berjalan kaki ke sana, sekitar 20 menit. Untuk mencapai pusat kota, Anda perlu berjalan kaki 10 menit ke halte bus. Kastil Edinburgh berjarak sekitar 30 menit berjalan kaki. Staf resepsionisnya sangat ramah.
