Lamlash Bay Hotel

Great view on the balcony. Wish there was a cover when it rains though. Room was lovely. Comfy bed. No bath, just a shower but good. Clean and fresh. Lovely touches like a radio, complimentary water, and coffee maker. Breakfast was perfect! Lovely service. Bar shuts at 10.30. even if you're a staying guest which was a shame as we wanted a nightcap after coming back from dinner but were refused service. Rules are rules though. Check out is 11 but the bar doesn't open till 12 so for an hour we sat outside but it was sunny and theres a cover too which is good. No fridge in the room which would be so handy for drinks, milk, etc but we had a big freezer bag and bought ice at the co-op next door so no big deal. Quite pricey but we'd stay again in room 3 as it's the balcony and view that make it so special. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Location is spot on too. Great wee place to get away from the metropolis.

Superb Cullen Skink which is a meal in itself served piping hot with homemade bread. No room for anything else. Delicious and good value served by friendly, welcoming staff. Lovely open log fire and a homely feel. Can highly recommend and will be back.

Arran has always been a salvation for us to get the dogs away from the madness of the city fireworks. Saw a deal for the Lamlash Bay Hotel on itison for 2 nights for the price of 1 and snapped it up. Clean, modern rooms, delicious breakfast and bar meals, and super friendly and accommodating team who work there. Nice touches for the dogs too - their own towels, bowls, treats and tennis ball. The only thing we would change is not having the room with the sloped ceiling. We’re two big lads and the bathroom had us stooped while using it. But that’s not a criticism of the hotel - just a pointer for anyone tall staying there. Our stay was brilliant and would definitely stay again.

The staff were incredible at this hotel. It was quiet, clean, good food, good sleep, and great service. Beautiful view from my room window, some rooms have balconies. I enjoyed Brodick Castle, the walk to Machrie Moor Standing Stones, and the two ferries from Claonaig and back to Ardrossan.

We had a lovely stay at the Lamlash Bay. We had a second floor room with a beautiful view on a clear day. The room itself was comfortable and stocked well with tea , coffee, water and biscuits. The bathroom was clean and tidy but the shower a bit disappointing as the shower head was oddly situated and meant the shower was a bit limited. The breakfast was excellent and cooked to order with plenty of refills of toast and tea. The staff were delightful and very helpful.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lamlash Bay Hotel. All the hotel staff are professional and friendly, the rooms was very comfortable and food great. We took our miniature doodle and she was welcomed by staff, received a goody bag on arrival and hat helped us relax too. There are some free fine events and we enjoyed the Pumpkin Carving - a bit of autumn fun for young and not so young!!
