Check in was horrible. The clerk swiped 3 different credit cards and said all were declined (our cards are paid off each month and good). I called the credit card company and had the clerk talk to them. They told her the card is good and was not decline as there was not even a transmission sent to even process the charge. After the girl spent over half an hour trying to figure out how to process the billing, we told her to get the manager on duty to take care of this. She said the manager on duty was not there, and that she was working a 2nd job somewhere. The girl tried calling the manager but she didn't answer. Finally after 1:20 minutes she was able to get ahold of the manager that was suppose to be on duty and she helped her process the payment over the phone. When I looked at my credit card billing on line we were charged a separate, additional odd fee before we even got checked in. The girl checking us in had no idea how that happened, not what it was for and didn't know how to remove it either. The girl checking us in never did apologized, and we told her to have the next manager that is actually there on duty to call us, but that never happened either. Such a terrible experience. Also, a lady that came in behind us tried checking in and supposably her two credit cards were declined too, so she could not get checked in either. How can a quality hotel not have a manager on duty at all time???
