We have stayed at the Cinque Terre Gateway 4 years in a row and have already booked our vacation for next year. Beautiful place, excellent service from all the staff. Our room was very clean (brand new furnishings), comfortable bed, AC worked well, excellent shower pressure, and excellent breakfast buffet included each morning in a beautiful setting. The Front desk will gladly schedule any tours, transfer, water taxis and dinners making the trip effortless. We would thank everyone by name but the list would be way too long!! However, I hope everyone knows how much we appreciate them!! It's really one of our favorite destinations every time we come back to Italy.

Great stay in an absolutely beautiful suite with the best view on the city. Our concierge Michele was amazing. He took care of dinner reservations and gave us great information about the 5 villages. Nothing was too much trouble. Always with a smile. His local knowledge and contacts made our stay a pleasure. The room was spotless and very clean. It appears recently upgraded and we were provided with all the necessary requirements such as robes, slippers, good quality toileteries and a really comfy bed. Breakfast each morning was also a delight. Full of delicious local specialties… and generous coffee service. Overall our stay was a great finale of our family vacation. I would definitely recommend the place to anybody looking for an exceptional stay!

Cinque Terre Gateway was probably one of the solution .you can find to visit Cinque Terre. Very well located near the station, with an easy walk into the historic centre and about a 5 minute walk to the seafront (where the ferries for the Cinque Terre etc are). Our room was immaculate, with a comfortable bed, large modern bathroom and great views. We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful walk in shower. The breakfast was excellent as well. Aurora was a very accommodating waitress, always willing to help. Michele’s recommendation to dine at the Dau Cila in Riomaggiore was spot on and we enjoyed it. The food is excellent and should not be missed. We left there knowing that if anyone ever asked us about Cinque Terre we would not hesitate to recommend Cinque Terre Gateway. If in Cinque Terre, you must stay here!

We spent 3 nights here in early January and absolutely loved the place! Comfortable king size bed. The room was clean and we didn’t hear any outside noise for a good sleep. Shower is good pressure and supplied products are high quality. The breakfast is lovely with fresh produce delivered daily. Delicious scrambled egg and a good selection of meats, cheese and cold produce. This is a wonderfully organized hotel the entire staff made us feel welcome and were very helpful in a warm and friendly manner. Michele is always making sure things are running smoothly and that guests are happy. I honestly can’t fault this hotel and it is changed my expectations going forward - thank you for a wonderful experience.

This hotel is our favorite, everything was perfect, definitely our best getaway location. Room is nice! Large size (by Italian hotel standards), clean, with comfortable bed, and TWO pillows (I find that to be rare in Italian hotels). Very nice shampoo and shower gels are also provided. Breakfast was very delicious. Finally, I was particularly impressed by the cozy and friendly staff. The manager was amazing (Michele), helped us a lot and made sure our stay was perfect, would 100% recommend for everyone.

Our experience with Cinque Terre Gateway started off horribly. You must be able to access the What's It App in order to contact Michael. You must also have internet in order to access Michael's facility. We had two providers, T Mobile and Verizon with International service. We didn't access the What's It App and consequently were left stranded outside the building for several hours after a long day of travel. Once we were able to gain access to the building as customers were exiting the building, we then called Michael numerous times for assistance to our room. After several long hours, Michael answered our phone call and provided us with a code to our room. This facility doesn't have a "live person" on the premises, and is only accessible via electronically. The following day, Michael waited for both of us to exit our room at different times in the hallway and was very confrontational with us at separate times regarding our displeasure of his service and business. BEWARE of Cinque Terre Gateway and their "limited" services provided only ACCESSIBLE BY INTERNET.

This hotel is right over the road from the railway station, so very convenient for getting to Cinque Terre villages, or anywhere in fact! The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We had the benefit of a walk in wardrobe giving plenty of space in the bedroom. As well as a very modern bathroom the room came with a coffee machine. All the staff we friendly and helpful, especially the bar and breakfast staff. Breakfast was delicious with a plenty of great choices. Very good value for the quality offered. Would definitely stay again.

Great location right beside the train station, very convenient for exploring Cinque Terre by train. Not far from the port either if you want to see Cinque Terre by boat/ferry either. Lots of bars & restaurants nearby too. The rooms are modern and ultra clean, but the service is where the hotel excels. Michele will make you feel at home. Hotel has also a lovely breakfast and if you come by car there is a private parking available. I spent 3 days there with all my family and we all had the best time. If you need a nice and cosy hotel, this the place!
