Spookdraai B&B

We arrived late at this accomodation, and this was not a problem at all. We asked for South-Afrian Braai in the evening, the taste was very good, but the portion was too big for us. The room is spacious and has a nice view. There is a small swimming pool behind the building, on top of the hill, from where you have a super-nice view as well. The breakfast was complete, but again the portions were too big for us. We enjoyed our stay!

A nice guesthouse with very friendly staff. A nice clean and modern room at the seaside. The staff does everything to make your stay rememorable, and their concept is enjoying, the staff is always nearby and are able to adjust their attitude concerning the guests. However I was not feeling very well thefood was delicious. Thanks for a comfortable stay.

Sea facing apar**ent at the southern most tip of Africa. Spacious room modern amenities. Breakfast was served hot with eggs to order and other local delicacies and freshly brewed coffee. Load shedding was an issue due to cold weather but it doesn’t matter as they have very friendly staff. They even cleaned our car while we were having breakfast. This is ideal place if you want to spend an overnight here in L’Agulhas. Parking is inside the gated compound.

We stayed here for three nights, we had a great welcome from the member of staff who came out into the car park, took our suitcase and took it up to our room, the family room was lovely, although the bedroom with two bunkbeds was small, and it was very difficult to squeeze between the 2 to get into bed. I ended up putting my daughter in the room and lifting up the other bed and then staying in the big bed with my son. One massive problem was there is no alternative electric when it is load shedding! On a break/holiday, you would expect a hotel to overcome this problem, and at eight till 10 pm. It was very very dark and there was nothing else to do in the room except for a light which was provided. Also when we returned to refresh on the 4 till 6 load shedding, you couldn’t put the kettle on or tv for background noise and the bathroom was very dark when you closed the door. It was the staff who made it for us, Marshall. The manager spoke when we spoke to him, but did not come across as friendly, we were not informed of when breakfast was and on our second day, I went down on my own to get breakfast as I thought he said eight till 10 when I asked, and this was 930 and did not get a breakfast. Perhaps there was some confusion with language communication We had a braai on the first night we were there and that was really lovely, although I felt R275 per person was a bit on the expensive side for a cheese toastie to start, chicken, Pap and a small koeksister and ice cream for dessert. The room was thoroughly cleaned each day and the fridge restocked. We had a lovely view of the mountains and it was lovely to watch the many garden visitors. All in all a pleasant stay and the location is great

From the time I booked (last minute) until left, I had the best experience at Spookdraai B&B !! 5 star experience! Clean, modern, safe, spacious rooms with amazing ocean views! Malawian co-owner, chef and receptionist 🤩 These guys were phenomenal! Over and above the great accommodation and location, you are met by the friendliest staff - They even washed my car windows in the morning (Misty sea air be gone). I had my own supper and they offered to heat it up for me and add chopped chillies (on request). There was also delicious home made rusks in the oven when I arrived which is complimentary in all the rooms. Best breakfast including homemade vetkoek (Malawian Croissant ) I will be back 💯% as I travel to Suiderstrand often due to Real Estate related work in the area.

Fabulous accomodations booked at the last minute and Spookdraai did not diasppoint. Well located with wild life raoming through the property which moves up into the bush. Great viewing deck and a pool whcih will be handy in Summer( but we went when it was too cold to swim). Staff are very accomodating and look after you so well. Chef and Manager Marshall was outstanding. Our upstairs room had a great Ocean view of SA's most Southern point Definitely worth a visit and I recommend Spookdraai, a new B and B if you are looking for a nice place to stay in Cape D'Agulhas

New bed 7 breakfast service in Agulhas. The little tiny hotel is brand new, so all the interior is new as well. The staff takes so much care of you, that they deserve it to visit them. Our room was very spacious, so we really had nothing to complain. to get into the pool you have to climb some stairs, to get to the outlook area even more. But it’s worth it. The window of the rooms show to the ocean. If you are an early bird, you van enjoy a wonderful sunrise.

Personnel très accueillant qui se donne beaucoup de peine pour satisfaire la clientèle. Bon petit déjeuner. Les chambres du rez-de-chaussée sont situées juste sur le parking et n'ont pas de balcon ou de terrasse privative. Bruyante pendant la journée car à 25m de la route principale. Offre une table d'hôte avec viande ou poisson grillé au feu de bois. Ceci est très pratique et très savoureux. Romantique jardin derrière la maison

La nostra camera era grandissima. Non c'erano tante prese di corrente, o meglio come quasi sempre in Sudafrica, quasi mai una vicino al letto o in bagno. Chissà perché!?! Una bella vista dalla nostra camera sull'oceano. Possibilità di cenare all'interno del b&b con menù ben preparato. Colazione normale. Parcheggio gratuito proprio davanti al b&b.
