The rooms air conditioning are not working, rooms are noisy, rooms cleaners are helpful and polite:) very close to airport, far away from central.

Recommended for transit, its easy and get free airport pick up and drop off, facilities also great, there are also gym & laundry,

Orange Hotel is very clean and we stayed in a non-smoking room as requested. The facilities in the room are decent and modern. It is convenient since we arrived in Kunming late at night and this hotel served as a good place to rest since the public transport (metro) stopped running by the time that we arrived. If you are sensitive to bright lights, I would have to mention that my sleep was affected by the bright lighting panels at the bedside (the panel to switch on the lights in the room are illuminated the entire time) and also the automatic lights (motion sensor) flicker on from time to time when I flip to the side during my sleep. I understand that the intention is to enable guests to be able to easily navigate the room in the middle of night (especially when they want to get up and go to use the bathroom), however in my case, it ended up affecting my sleep. A way to get around that would be to use a pillow or blanket to cover the lighting panel to ensure that its brightness will not affect your sleep. It would have been convenient to have the hotel's wechat number in advance to organsie the airport shuttle transport. I had to contact the hotel's number by phone call and luckily we could because we had some minutes of calls enabled by roaming otherwise you will have to end up calling a ride/taxi to the hotel yourself. All in all, I would say it offers value in terms of price and if you just need to stay in a hotel near the airport, it does offer you what you need.

Let's start, should offer airport pick up service, called to arrange then we got a phone call to say they can't pick us up therefore make your own way to the hotel and we will refund the taxi, however it was very very hard to get a taxi because the location is close therefore wasted nearly 1 hr at 01:00 to get a short ride to the hotel. The bed is very very uncomfortable because it's on a wood board with no support, therefore woke up a few times in agony plus the road is loud, quite terrible to be honest and breakfast -----/ YUCK!!! Should be ashamed of yourselves serving cold inedible food...

Good stay for a night for next day early flight. Great location! Free airport transfer. Overall great!

The hotel provides airport transfer which is good for travellers. The front desk staff are friendly. The room is clean.

Very friendly and helpful staff although they didn’t speak much English. They tried their best to help and provide suggestions and all. Hotel is very close you airport so perfect for early departure/ late arrival and free airport transfer was the best part- just add the 2nd phone number for wechat.

We had an early flight to return to Singapore on 21 May 2024. We booked the 4:30am shuttle from the hotel to the airport. There were two ladies at the front desk that morning and the one wearing a light blue jacket was very rude to us. She should not be assigned front desk duties as she has no sense of customer service and replies rudely. Everything about the hotel was good but it was such a pity that the hotel has a staff with no basic manners.

Excellent choice for a stay near the international airport. Staffs are professional, breakfast buffets are delicious, and the rooms are clean and new.

Very good location. Very nice and spacious family room. Heated toilet seats, sensor activated lighting and remote controlled curtains. Largest TVs I ever seen in hotels. Provides airport drop off and wake up service. Orange scented toiletries are very nice.

Among all the accommodation in this trip, Orange Hotel is the best Hotel. I will book Orange Hotel chain for my next future China trip.

Love the place! Clean and has everything you'll need for a good night sleep. The breakfast spread was good too! Have booked another two nights for the rest of my stay. Highly recommend!
