The hotel is decent being a very dated building. A very good value for money stay as it is right opposite of the waterfront. We asked for an extra bed for a fee during check in and was delivered within minutes after we got into our room. Easy access to the souvenir shops , and places to eat right around the corner. You can walk everywhere and hop on the hydrogen bus for a free ride within the city.

It is located inside a village, is a perfect spot for a staycation. The resort is next to the sea, but the rooms have no sea view. Despite this, the resort environment is excellent. I love the layout, very calm, and charming. Service was good as well.

Overall experience was good. The family enjoyed the stay. But there's room for improvement.. We were given a room facing the back yard of the building even though we booked a room facing the pool. I did ask for change but was told all rooms were already occupied, even though we were amongst the earliest to check in and many others came later after us but given room facing the pool.

they were renovating during our stay so some ammenities weren’t exactly where they are but overall it was a value for money stay. they upgraded us to the executive suite which was a really big room. some parts of the room like the paint is abit worn down if you really stare at it. the water pressure was really bad but despite that the room was clean and service was good.
in room meal was not the best in terms of taste, didnt get breakfast tho. hopefully once the renovations are done it will look much betterb

Excellent stay! Our stay at the property was excellent! The location was perfect, close to everything we needed. The facilities were great and well-maintained. GGuest UserHave been to Kuching couple of times but 1st time staying at this hotel, chose it due to proximity to the Waterfront.
Stayed at the King size room with a view of the DUN building and waterfront, can watch light shows every night from the room at 6th floor. Room was very spacious. Hotel is old, the mirror door was cracked.
My concern was that as the hotel is linked to a mall and the mall share the same lift with the hotel, it keeps the lifts busy and us hotel guests have to wait for the lift and some non guests were able to access the rooms level if they just stayed in the lift even though they intend to access the mall, which I witness many times. Weirdos from the mall can just come knocking at your hotel room since they can just follow you to your floor without having to tap hotel card in the lift! To me this is a security and privacy concern to the
safety of hotel guests. By right, non guest should only be able to access the lift up to the lobby or use a separate lift that doesnt give access to the pool and rooms. Or the lift to the mall for hotel guest be kept separate. Breakfast spread was good though I find ex at RM30-40 for my 6 year old. She could eat breakfast for free in european hotels. Pool water is also cold as you don't get the sun in. Hotel staff are all very helpful.

This have given my 16th wedding anniversary with my husband so wonderful and memorable. Breakfast at the Chinese Resto ( Gu Jin) was awesome! Love the siew mai and dumplings. Definitely will go again! Kudos Sheraton Kuching.

GGuest Userthis is my genuine review. Location is superb, very near to city center, roughly about 5 mins grab ride (which usually costs about RM4.50-6). Hotel is relatively new so cleanliness is a 10/10. I got a room at level 5, hence i did not experience any noise that disrupted my sleep except honking from vehicles on the road.
Do note that the hotel enforces strict rules but imo its reasonable of them to have such rules. Example are no stains to be spotted on bedsheets, else rm50 will be charged.
I also like how they use smart technology here. Keyless entry to rooms, and no need to trouble yrself to call the receptionist like many other hotels. They communicate via whatsapp & i have to say their response is quite fast. I asked for an extra towel before and not long after a staff knocked to pass me one.
Only thing i would suggest to improve is to not have many staffs lingering around the room for too long. Idk why eveey morning, afternoon, evening and even night, i see the housekeeping staffs outside hahaha.
Also do note that there isnt any gym (i think!)
and for muslim travellers, the restaurant below serves alcohol but is claimed to serve ‘halal’ food (this is common there). So if you’re like me who takes this seriously and prefer to dine at legitimately halal restaurants, do take note on this.
However, there is Anuar Steamboat located about 8 minutes walk from the hotel. do try that out.
Overall, i would definitely come back. Reasonably priced, great location, good cleanliness, responsive.

GGuest UserA very nice and special concept of living in a concrete tube. We had an external bathroom which made it more comfortable in the sleeping area. The terrain is very green and clean. The two pools are well prepared but the outdoor lounges should be cleaned up and preserved in a better way. Especially before or/and after rain they should be stored or treated to avoid mold. The staff is very friendly and helpful f.e. with pickup service. Only days with lots of people they where kind of overwhelmed. The breakfast should be better controlled and refilled in time. The gym is conditionally useable. The treadmill is broken, the saddle of the spinning bike is not adjustable.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is very well located, in front of Waterfront so it is very easy to walk around. Very very centric. The breakfast is full of options, a very good one. The only problem that I got was during the check-in, I arrived at 3pm when the check-in is at 2pm onwards. The room was not ready and they made me wait for 1h more, once I got the room, they keys didn't open the door for three time so they took 1h more to fix the problem. After that, everything was smooth
