They arrange a quite room for me as per requested. Appreciate it! The room was nice and cozy, amenities provided, just the linen and towels in the room a bit old.

Great location. Access to a lot of places. Kuching Esplanade is just in front of the hotel. You can find nice food on foot. It is just that most shops close very early Friendly staff as they will smile whenever you walk past them. Choose the river view if you want to have a nice view like mine but this means that it will be noisy at times, especially at night. The only bad thing about my room is the toilet flashing system is not strong. Breakfast was ok but very simple. It will be good if they can provide buffet style.

Extremely friendly staff. Took the extra mile to help us source for places of interest and food we wanted to try. The team always serves with a smile. Well done, All. We will return.

perfect location exactly in middle of Kuching City, near to the famous Kuching Waterfront. Crew is wonderfull, polite and always there for help. Security also great specially during night time only guest with key can enter the hotel. good joh.

The room is spacious but the bathtub is missing the stopper for room 105. Had requested the staff to fix it but no action taken

Vegan food, vegan food, vegan food! Before we got to Kuching we searched the Internet for recommendations before arriving but the Ranee didn't show. What an omission! Easily the vegan go to place in Kuching. Check out the menu. In 4 nights we couldn't try ALL of the main courses. The ones we did try were all excellent. I couldn't give them a better validation. If you're a vegan wanting to find great food look no further. And the people couldnt be more attentive or accommodating. Oh... and did I mention the cocktails???

Not a great start as on arrival they did not have our booking. Fortunately the room we had booked and paid for was available so we were checked in. The trip to Borneo was booked through Audley Travel. Contacted them and they confirmed we would not be charged on departure. The hotel's reason for the mistake was that they had moved to a new booking system and our booking had not been transferred. We eventually got a bottle of wine and a hand written note from the hotel but not until our final night of our 3 night stay. Another unusual thing was we had to pay 200 ringgit security deposit which we got back when we checked out, as we paid cash. If you pay by credit card it will take around 7 days before it is refunded. We stayed in the Valerie suite and the room was mostly very good. Safe and wifi worked fine, bathroom was nice and spacious and everything was very clean. We did not have any problem with noise but our room faced the back of the hotel rather than the road in front of the hotel. Please note there are additional stairs up to the room so not the best if you have reduced mobility. There is a balcony but view is not great and the gap from the room to get out to the balcony is around 1 metre high. The major plus for the hotel is location as you are in the heart of the waterfront. Everything you want to see is easy walking distance. Breakfast was simple but worked fine for us. The website shows that they have a cafe and bar. The cafe is still not open but the bar is now open in the evenings for cocktails although I did not see anyone using it. Plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance from the hotel.

Location is great opposite the river. The welcome was a bit underwhelming - arriving at 10pm seemed like they were waiting for us before going home. There are lifts but they start on half landing - not problem to us but is disabled take note Corridors could do with a li k of paint but the rooms are pretty good. Large, decent zircon, nice bathroom and large comfy bed. Breakfast staff were lovely and made eggs to order. There is a bar but didn't have any wine and only a beer or G&T but no real worry as there are bars and restaurants near by. (Blah blah blah was good restaurant and the sea food, food court worth a visit. Overall rooms 4* The rest of hotel 3* Breakfast staff - lovely 5*

We stayed here for three nights. It’s in a very good position if you want to be located in the city and near to the river. You have to accept you do hear road noise but it didn’t stop us sleeping and we had a room at the very front by the road. It was a good base to explore the city and head to semengohh orangutan sanctuary and only a twenty drive from the airport. We had a few teething problems with our safe and a leaking shower but both were fixed as and when maintenance were available. It’s a city hotel with lots of character. Breakfast was decent.

100000’s BAD Hotel , Scammed Motel ~ RANEE BOUTIQUE SUITES @Kuching Sarawak Malaysia!!! - Ranee scammed hotel’s used to be no refund deposit caused their advantage be found lots kinds of EXCUSE to claim clients back as their extra commission or staff part time wages - Searching the Rubbish of clients daily in room (when client’s not here) to finding EXCUSE proof not to refund the deposit - no hot water for showering ( downstair to complaint, but no improve at the end) - their Front-desk looks complicit thief , they re not accepted the pays via CREDIT CARD, only accepted the CASH, that’s very strength! - DO NOT BOOK THERE , ONE TIME BE THERE SCRAMMED IS TOO MUCH!!!

Staff takes your personal info (without permission) and text you. The housekeeping ends at 4 pm and no one bothers to help. Take note. Room okay, bad view. Not worth the money. Some other receptionist staff is excellent. Take note the check in is not 24 hours.

Beautifully restored 2 shophouses in the centre of Kuching...comes with the intricate passages, stairs etc, call to prayer, the riverbank night shows and hustle and bustle. That is part of its quirkiness...we loved it Stayed 3 nights in the Margaret Suite...which came with a balcony to take in the views. Room was lovely, clean, everything worked, big bed, large bathroom. Breakfast was somewhat limited, but, with only 24 rooms, expecting a lavish spread would be impractical. Staff were lovely...Olyvia, Joe, Gabriella and Awang were friendly, interested and helpful..cheers to Ali and the brekky crew! If you want to immerse yourself in Kuching life, shopping and culture...this is a great option. Look forward to coming back again.
