The hotel is decent being a very dated building. A very good value for money stay as it is right opposite of the waterfront. We asked for an extra bed for a fee during check in and was delivered within minutes after we got into our room. Easy access to the souvenir shops , and places to eat right around the corner. You can walk everywhere and hop on the hydrogen bus for a free ride within the city.

Real evaluation: Ctrip booked 2 nights, couldn't cancel, had to stay. It's quite remote, not very convenient without a car. The environment is a bit like Bali, but the homestay is relatively small, the hygiene is OK, the sheets are clean, and the room is clean. We basically don't open the window, there are no bugs, don't worry, but there will be mosquitoes downstairs, it's relatively quiet, there is nothing around, you can only eat in the hotel, the price is a bit high, not very cheap, but in such a remote place, there is nothing to complain. Even instant noodles can't be bought! The service attitude is good, every employee greets with a smile. If you want to experience rural life, just stay for one night. Staying for 2 nights will be a bit boring, there is no TV. On the way back, the driver said that there is a very fresh seafood market here, you can buy directly, they can process it, and if the hotel can arrange some itineraries, it may not be so boring. The overall cost performance is not high, it's okay to stay for one night. If you stay in a bed, it's cheaper.

Overall experience was good. The family enjoyed the stay. But there's room for improvement.. We were given a room facing the back yard of the building even though we booked a room facing the pool. I did ask for change but was told all rooms were already occupied, even though we were amongst the earliest to check in and many others came later after us but given room facing the pool.

they were renovating during our stay so some ammenities weren’t exactly where they are but overall it was a value for money stay. they upgraded us to the executive suite which was a really big room. some parts of the room like the paint is abit worn down if you really stare at it. the water pressure was really bad but despite that the room was clean and service was good.
in room meal was not the best in terms of taste, didnt get breakfast tho. hopefully once the renovations are done it will look much betterb

A very cute and comfortable place to stay. The area where the hotel is located have lots of dining places and supermarkets - McD, KFC, e-mart, Subway, as well as banks and petrol stations. The customer service is commendable and the staff are really helpful. Recommended for backpackers and travelers.

Nncnicolefirst time staying in hilton and we were so impressed by the newly renovated hotel. perfect rooms, great location, great service and delicious food. will stay here again if we come back to kuching. not a single bad thing to say about this hotel.

MMuaz Morniin the centre of downtown what more can u ask for and for me it’s the best hotel boutique for traveller to enjoy their stay here with easy adjacent to the Plaza Merdeka Mall via Lobby Floor and Level 4 link to Mall FoodPlaza for people’s to meet. highly recommend to everyone for best amenities and river/city view with Club Floor or normal floor for u to enjoy the serenity’s. furthermore the Level 13 if a must to visit for sunset view’s and chills with the love one’s.

This have given my 16th wedding anniversary with my husband so wonderful and memorable. Breakfast at the Chinese Resto ( Gu Jin) was awesome! Love the siew mai and dumplings. FFazlie BinTo best describe this place, it's like a mini paradise atop a cliff overlooking the beautiful sea, with a twist of staying in large cylindrical concert culverts.
You can easily spot it along the road to Damai with its large circular logo at its gate. It was closed upon my arrival at 3pm, but due to the main entrance being easily seen from the receptionist area, it didn't take long for them to open the gate, and I just drove right in.
The receptionist was very polite and welcoming, decently professional as well, after checking us in we were given a quick tour around, highlighting the facilities and public areas.
The room itself, being quite quirky in its own way, isn't too difficult to maneuver around, as long as you don't rush yourself and knock yourself around the relatively tiny room. Adequate steps are built to help climbing up and moving around, with simple storage spots around the bed, which by itself takes up about half of the room. The other side of the room is the bathing area, which I would say is surprisingly spacious enough to use. So a bed and a bathing area sums up the entire, unique cylindrical room.
The hotel itself is nicely planned, guests can pamper themselves by picking their favorite spots located around the place, and enjoy a marvelous view of the sea. There's also a small private beach all the way down the cliff too. Facilities include swimming pools, sauna room, washer + dryer machines, gymnasium, library, etc. are pretty neat if you need them.
I would say the place is great for couples, and a short refresher trip. I technically live in the city just half an hour drive away, but to catch a break from work and relax here for a day, I'd recommend this place in a heartbeat. Just make sure you've got the legs to climb up and down the place!

HHenry TyeThe Theater Hotel Kuching was a pretty solid choice for my business trip. I loved the keyless entry – no fumbling for cards at the door after a long flight! Check-in was a breeze, and the room itself was modern, clean, and comfortable, with everything I needed to get work done and recharge.
The only downside? There was a big event happening in their hall one night, and the music definitely carried. If you're a light sleeper, maybe request a room further away. But overall, a good option for a quick business trip, especially if you value convenience and a modern vibe.

GGuest UserCheck-in was grand; reception was friendly and efficient. The room and kitchen was clean, comfortable, and spacious. We have all toiletries provided with extra towels & pillows. The master bedroom has a clean bath-tub. Toilets are clean; they don't smell like Merdeka Palace; that's the most important thing. But we were very disappointed with the breakfast: lack of variety, not enough seats; we have to wait for our turn to eat. Also not a proper place to eat. I would come again but will not take the breakfast package.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is very well located, in front of Waterfront so it is very easy to walk around. Very very centric. The breakfast is full of options, a very good one. The only problem that I got was during the check-in, I arrived at 3pm when the check-in is at 2pm onwards. The room was not ready and they made me wait for 1h more, once I got the room, they keys didn't open the door for three time so they took 1h more to fix the problem. After that, everything was smooth
