Ulasan Yiyun Mountain Residence (Huangshan Scenic Area Nandamen Branch)

I am glad I chose this family run hotel. It's 5 years old but looks new and modern. Room is very clean, well appointed with good windows. Boss and wife are friendly and helpful. He was a guide for 8 years and helped us plan our hiking routes using his excellent free map. He will drive you to the bus terminus to take a bus to Huangsan cable car station, less than 10 minutes away. Dinner was good at the hotel's restaurant.

Beautiful rooms with very helpful owner who dropped us to the park gate. Bare in mind.. owner and his wife, they don't speak English but with translator you are able to communicate. We didn't eat there but from reviews looks it's good. A bit pricey but it's a touristic area. From town to the hotel it's 10 min drive by didi and cost 10/15 yuan. The owner offered us a transportation to Huangshan station for pretty same money as bus so very convenient. Oh! We've got delicious traditional biscuits. Thank you!

Good location, away from the neon lights and trinkets of Tangkuozhen. Located next to pretty Emerald Valley, for a gentle scenic walk/hike to get your legs back after hiking Huangshan. Beware: little to no English is spoken here so have your translator app ready. The hotel owner or his son will call a cab for drop offs, pickups, or day trips (Hongcun, Bamboo Forest Mukeng).

Casual hotel, could find maybe a closer hotel but the staff was nice: they drive you to the entry if you ask (convenient). Do not eat at the hotel, quite expensive

Boss Zheng is very nice. He picked us up from the hotel to the scenic spot. The hotel environment is also good and newly renovated. The food tastes good and is very cost-effective.

This homestay is clean and tidy. The king-size bed room I stayed in is spacious and bright. The owner is very welcoming, and he will drive you to the scenic area. The dishes cooked by the owner's wife are especially delicious. And the price is reasonable and close to the people. It was foggy when I went up the mountain this time, so I didn't see everything. I will stay at his house next time. 👍👍👍👍👍👍

The boss's house is nice to live in. You can see the mountains when you open the window. You can also eat at the boss's house. The food is tasty and delicious (the price of meat dishes is a bit high, it depends on the individual). Don't go out, it's expensive and not delicious. When you go out, just say hello to the boss and you can get a free pick-up. It's cheaper to buy tickets for small attractions from the boss than online. (The photo is a mess because I haven't cleaned it up after living there for two days.)

The decoration is OK and clean. We arrived very late at night and booked an economy family room, but they upgraded us to a deluxe family room. The boss picked us up at Namdaemun in the morning and evening and provided free hiking poles. It was also very convenient to eat in the morning and evening, and the food was very good. I will choose this hotel next time I go there.
