The Spiski Palace Apartments

Loved everything about this apartment, on the main square. Clean and affordable. Easy to access at night. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment. Would we stay here again. Most certainly. A hidden gem. Right in the centre of everything and easy walking distance

What can we say about this place. Excellent location right behind the main square and big rooms. The apartment overlooks a courtyard that is owned by someone else. The management warned us 25minutes prior to arrival that they would be an event in the courtyard that we could attend if we wished. We had 2 children with us. What they failed to tell us is that this event started at midnight and finished at 6am!! We have since learnt from people in the courtyard that these are regular events, sometimes weekly! I am not exaggerating when I say that this event was a Rave! Strobe lighting that lit up the bedroom and loud, thumping music! The sign inside the apartment says quiet times are between 22:00 and 06:00. Anyone not complying will be charged 600PLN. The 3rd night there, a drunk man was banging on our door in the middle of the night trying to get in. When we returned and complained to the apartment management company, we were told that they had informed us about the event and that we had the choice to move to another apartment and that it was our fault for staying. They even sent the messages they sent us back to us as proof of this. Not once did they inform us if we were unhappy we could move apartment and as we had booked it on non cancellation we did not know that was an option. They also never told us that it was an all night event. All of which is vital information. Despite the fact we had proof they hadn't told us this and the fact that they say they will fine occupants if they do not be quiet, they refused to give us any compensation towards the lack of sleep and the disruption to our children. Avoid this place at all costs if you are staying in krakow on a Friday or Saturday evening and would like to get any sleep!!! We are now taking this up with our credit card company as the apartment management needs to let people know more clearly what they may be in for so they can make an informed choice.

1.0 Do Not Recommend, Loud Noisy Bar Next Door, Owners Not Interested in Complaint, Avoid. · Nextdoor is a bar/club noise is ridiculous, if you want to sleep do not stay here. People using the bar/club use the hallway of apartment block to smoke and openly take *****, noisy and unpleasant. Have stayed four times before pre-covid and it was perfect location, new owners took over seven months ago and clearly do not care, they said that it is a restaurant, no other restaurant on the square has security on the door, smoke machine and dj decks. The music was loud, base booming and everything in the room vibrating loudly until 4-5am, it was impossible to sleep. The bed in apartment 3 vibrated. Owners dismissive and no longer responding. Many other places to stay, avoid these apartments.
