Friendly staff and great location! I had a problem with the the door lock. It wouldn’t open with the key card. The front desk staff found some one to help me open it quickly.

let me say few words about this hotel, one of the best in cracow, I was there twice and their hospitality is amazing. You can ask reception about everything and they will help imidietly. They booked us tickets to opera in no more than 15 minutes!! How did they do that ? I was so amazed. The breakfat made from traditional polish ingredients is a bleasing to your soul. You must visit them and theirf fabolous rooms.

Excellent hotel in perfect town centre location. Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff were attentive throughout and even got a mini tour of the hotel from the bellboy……although ‘boy’ may have been slightly kind. He was a great host though. Cannot fault this hotel.

Large rooms with lovely roof top views. Hotel close to main square but Ubers cannot pick up outside so be aware you will have to walk 7 minutes to a pick up location. Breakfast expensive but lots of fabulous inexpensive cafes close by. Reception staff helpful & speak excellent English.

Second time at hotel and had a great stay, super service and food. Very helpful when we wanted to celebrate friends birthday. Highly recommended and we will return.

I stayed here 6 years ago and returned with 5 friends as it is so well located and we were so well looked after by the staff previously. This hotel is 80 metres from the main square, local Polish restaurants in the same street were delicious and such fantastic value if it’s too chilly at markets to eat outside. The hotel is older in style, we loved its grandeur. It is immaculately clean with a wide choice of food for breakfast. What has made this hotel so fantastic is the staff. Nothing was too much trouble for any of them. They arranged taxis, luggage, always checking we had all we needed. We celebrated one lady’s birthday requesting from the restaurant manager a reserved table for 6 of us at a busy breakfast time. She truly surpassed expectations. We arrived to a beautifully decorated table, they played happy birthday and our friend was thrilled. Andreja one of the doormen is a sweetheart. He gave us a tour of the old ballroom, lighting up the gorgeous glass ceiling for us to see, did lots of photos by the Christmas tree of us all and treated us like royalty, helping with bags, getting coats on. We had a wonderful stay and this wonderful hotel. Thank you to all at The Grand Hotel, Krakow

The hotel staff are very pleasant and helpful. We stayed four nights . Our room was a classic/budget room, The decor was a drab green but the beds were comfortable and there is tea/coffee making facilities as well as the usual complimentary slippers and use of dressing gowns. Breakfast was lovely however one morning we arrived for breakfast at 9.20 am the staff had let the hot food run down to nothing so had to wait 15 mins for top up which was too late by then. Breakfast closes at 10am Plenty of staff but were not attentive to the hot food holders. On our last night we had to be ready for a 3.30am transfer to the airport. I was dismayed to find that no take away breakfast was provided and of course we had paid for it. My fellow travellers from various other hotels had been given a little bag of goodies from their hotel. We did receive an early morning call as requested. The hotels photos look bright but in reality its a bit drab. I would rate it a four star.

We had a lovely trip, the hotel was beautiful and in such a great location for the Christmas Market. We were extremely lucky that we had snow ! The room was spacious and had everything that that you would require. The breakfast that was included in the price was delicious, again had a lot of choice. We highly recommend , would definitely return
