Cabana Blu Hotel & Suites

Within 15 minutes from airport we arrive, to be greated by Vivi, from start to finish Vivi was wonderful, Which continued through all staff, from bar, restuarant, beach and cleaners. Everyone was great, considering it was the end of the season they all smiled and helped in every way. Drinks and food were lovely in the hotel and on the beach, all day long. Complete with singing, on the morning of my partners birthday, with cake, candle and bubbles. We had a pool room and then sea room (moved for birthday) both rooms were clean, comfy and relaxing. Thank you EVERYONE for making a holiday and birthday rememberable for me and my partner, we will defiantly be back.

Just came back a few days ago from a 5 day break with my cousin for her birthday. The guest relation manager greeted us on our arrival and showed us around the facilities. The staff were very warm and friendly. The hotel was clean and felt safe and secure as well a variety of tasty food. This was my first visit to the island of Kos and I will definitely be visiting and staying at the Cabana Blu on my return.

This hotel is simply excellent. Facilities location and such friendly staff. Service with a smile always. Vivi guest relations had the warmest personality and brightened our day. Thank you to all staff and especially in the restaurant. Being an older couple we felt well cared for!Thank you! See you again!

We visited in oct 24 for a week. Over all we found this an excellent hotel. Friendly helpful staff. Comfortable well equipped rooms very comfy beds. Fabulous food with plenty of choice. Speciality Mediterranean restaurant 10 out of 10. It does state that men have to wear long trousers in the restaurant this wasn’t the case and there was a very relaxed feel. Very close to the beach and main shopping and other restaurants. Only negative is not enough sun beds for everyone and these are in high demand. Even though the hotel has a no reservations on sun beds this is not managed and people get up early to reserve by pool side and at beach area. However sunbeds are always available along the strip for free as long as you buy drinks etc. we had to do this one day due no availability at the hotel. Most sunbeds in the hotel are in the shade by early afternoon. Beach side is tatty and needs some TLC lots of fag butts in the sand. Parasols are fixed in an open position and can’t not be closed so no option to close and you are then in shade. Bar staff are very attentive and are constantly coming round to take orders for drinks at the poolside and beach. Please note that alcohol in the speciality restaurants have a charge. daily ferries goes to near by islands for 20euros return each. There are other options to take boat trips which offer opportunities to visit near by bays and beaches for swimming etc Buses to Kos town go daily and take about 50mins. Found everyone very friendly and are always happy to have a chat. Cost about 17 euros for one way transport from airport and taxis are readily available,

We arrived mid afternoon after a very early flight and were greeted at reception, had to wait until 3pm for our room,we left our luggage and headed across the street to pass the hour in a local bar in front of the beautiful sea. On arriving back at the hotel, we were given our room card, I had paid extra for a side sea view and casually mentioned this, the lady looked at me and said ‘no, we don’t have that on your booking’ . I persevered and showed her the booking with it clearly stating this, she said they didn’t have any but maybe we could change rooms in a few days? NOT GREAT ! As other reviews have said it has a very visually stunning interior, and very clean. The restaurant wqs again kept clean and the waiters and waitresses worked very hard and were always smiling but the food had a lot to be desired …same pizza, pork or chicken , chips , fish, always lukewarm , never hot..the breakfast and salads were the best bit…wine was awful, and some cocktails were so syrupy and sweet. The sun beds or shade beds at the hotel we only used in the evening as there was never enough seating near the bar. The beach sun beds , well, you had to get up at 7-7.30 am to get one of those, the beach was dirty but the sea love.y and clear..the beach service was ok, and the beach bar the nicest place, lovely cocktail there with a lovely lady making them. We only stayed five nights and that was about enough, I hastened to add that we got our side sea view for three of the five nights, but, Vivi made me feel that it was something wonderful that they done for us, rather than just what we should have had in the first place. Also chatting to other guests, the same thing had happened to them and one couple even had to stay at their sister hotel not the one that they had booked. Would I go back? No .

On arrival we were greeted with an unbelievable upgrade. Originally we had booked standard rooms for the cheaper option, however when we arrived we were greeted by Vivi, who was absolutely amazing, she went above and beyond for us and really looked after us, We were upgraded to a room with private pool and the penthouse suite. This absolutely made our trip, as did the incredible staff who were always super friendly and attentive. We couldn’t have asked for more! The facilities were beautiful, the food was incredible and so was the asian al a carte restaurant which we went too one night, again as a complimentary booking by Vivi. The beaches were gorgeous, we felt super safe. As two young couples we really enjoyed the bars along the front every evening. The live music on wednesday night was so much fun and really topped off a lovely week! On our final day we had a late flight, they had amazing facilities in the spa to accommodate our needs, Such as showers, toilets and changing rooms, no need to extend your room for the day. We will definitely be back!
