Akti Beach Club

We spent 12 days here in May 2024 and what a time we had! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left everything was perfect. Our room & the hotel grounds were spotless throughout our stay. The food was delicious, with plenty of variety everyday. All of the staff were wonderful ESPECIALLY the animation team - what an absolute dream team these guys are! Hedi, Karina, Kevin & the gang were amazing and put so much effort into their guests experience! They really made our stay! Ayman who is one of the chefs was the most down to earth, friendly guy you could ever wish to meet - and his pizzas were out of this world. The bar staff especially Giannis, Rinor & Niko were brilliant and couldn't do enough for us! This team of people here made us feel so at home we are already booking to come back again next year and we cannot wait

Wow wow wow!! I mean, we were expecting a fab holiday but we were blown away by Akti beach, on arrival we were told we had been given a free upgrade, from a double room to a maisonette... two bedrooms, two bathrooms and two wordrobes, lovely and fresh, modern, hair dryer, mini fridge, fresh towels daily, everything you could think of, air con and safe in with the room. The room was in the adult only area which had its own restaurant, bar, evening entertainment every night. But you could go into any area, And even though the season was coming to an end, and it was getting quite quiet, the hotel itself kept running second to none right up until we left (the hotel was closing the following day for end of season) the staff were lovely and friendly and so many pools to choose from. We loved the beach which literally is on your doorstep, although it is very pebbly and a little slippy, sand bags have been placed to help you get into the sea and there are lots of fish swimming around you. The hotel bus which took you into Kardamina, free of charge ran throughout the day and the village itself was typically greek and so beautiful lined with lots of bars and restaurants. We went all inclusive plus and we barely spent a thing.. proper branded drinks and food available, 24/7. Shop onsite, Thankyou Akti Beach for being amazing. We would definately recommend to anyone, there is plenty for any age or group... Enjoy your well earnt rest. Roll on next season.... xx

We were looking forward to coming back to this hotel for our 3rd visit. It was 2019 since we lasted came to this hotel and it was a 4 Star back then. The hotel has now become a 5 Star and has added swimming pools to most blocks. It has also added more accommadation to the Adult only area and 2 new pools. The restaurant is a huge bonus in this area. The evening entertaintment in this area is new since we last visited and was very good. Let us begin by saying the food in this hotel is top class in every part be it the main restaurant,adult only restaurant or the snack bars. The soft drinks are plentiful and mostly self sevice. The hotel has some international drinks (Baileys). The places is spotless and the cleaners do a fantastic job. The staff work long hours and are mainly very helpful. Free bus to local town is great idea. The following is what lets this hotel down. 1. No bottled water available unless you buy it from shops. 2.Mini bar in rooms should be topped up every day in all rooms not just special few. 3.Bathroom was very dated in our room and needed to be modernised. Toilet filling all the time and shower head could not be adjusted as slider broken. 4.Adult only area. We spent most of our time in the Adult only area and came across a stupid rule. When we booked in we were given a blue wrist band so we assumed we could use all facilities in the hotel. We noticed some people were wearing orange wrist bands but were not informed when booking in that hotel had a silly little rule. We found out the hard way when a member of the management team told us we could not use the sunbeds in the Adult only section as we had blue wrist bands. We could use everything else and even swim but not sit or lie down on the sun beds. It was embarrassing to find out the way we did. It turns out the people with orange bands have to book the main restaurant. This is silly to put it nicely. We said it to one of the managers who found it hard to justify. The hotel needs to change this policy or make Adult only area a separate part of the hotel with access with swipe card. 5. Cocktails are premade and not drinkable. 6.Machine to weigh bags cost €1 per bag. 7.Only one person serving the main bars so large queue alot of the time. This not fair on bar person and guests. 8.Lifeguards on phones is not really on in our opinion. 9. The hotel says it has 24 hour food. This was not happening when we were staying in May. Also the Animation team seemed to get food (pizza) before guests. When we went one evening the choice was us or them and guess who got priority? 10. The guy in the Adult only bar (not main bar man ) in evenings more interested in getting you drinks if you tipped him. We found this out when he decided to ignore us after 2 nights. To conclude we were disappointed over all. If this hotel wants to be a 5 star then it needs to up its game. The tax for staying in a 5 star is €140 for 2 weeks.

Very much in the midst of holiday blues after recent returning home from a 10-day stay at this hotel! We chose the hotel on account of the positive reviews and the location being near to a family wedding that took place at another hotel. Other family members joined us during our stay, in both the adults only and the main family section. All of the rooms we stayed in were clean and well presented. The food on offer was of a good variety in the restaurants, and the children appreciated the additional option of the snack bars. Whilst the variety of alcoholic drinks and cocktails on offer isn't vast, we found it catered to our tastes well and enjoyed the atmosphere in the bar areas. There are many pools around the resort that cater to both adults and children, and the beach is a short walk away. We didn't have any issue with obtaining sun loungers during our stay. A personal highlight was the scenery and wildlife around the hotel and in the local area. The birds will join you for breakfast if you allow them to, and you'll catch sight of the odd cat lounging in the bushes from time to time. You'll also spot the odd gecko scrambling up the walls in the evenings if you look carefully enough. Amidst the beautiful, sunny, weather, we were lucky enough to catch a storm one night which lit up the sky over the mountains with rapid forks of lightning, just stunning to watch. If you're a fan of beautiful sunsets, a trip up to Zia in the late afternoon/evening is an absolute must. The people working at the hotel were what made our experience truly special. The cleaners were lovely when we encountered them and the bar and wait staff were all super friendly. Multiple members of the team made the effort to ask our names and would talk to us whenever we went for food and drinks. As a result, we frequently went to the bars and restaurants solo when other members of the family were busy as we felt so comfortable in doing so. Finally, the animation team. At the beginning of our stay, we didn't have any children with us, and so we initially encountered the animation team only during the evening entertainment. As more members of the family joined us, we saw more and more of the team and got to truly appreciate just how special they are. Hedi, Seb, and Kevin in particular stood out to us as very charismatic, personable and kind people. However, the entire team really must be commended for their friendliness and their seemingly endless energy! Thank you to all at Akti for such a memorable stay. I'm sure we will be back for some more Grecian sun in the future.

What a fantastic family hoilday we had , rooms we’re lovely , food nice staff were friendly an helpful nothing to much trouble , the entainment team were brillant hedi made sure we’re we all involved an entained us throughout the day , but yannis behind the pool bar what a lovely man worked so hard an made r hoilday so enjoyable , he’s deserve a medal thanks Heidi an especially yannis for a lovely hoilday xx

Such an amazing experience from start to finish the entertainment staff made the holiday ! Hedi I was amazing with us and the kids really involved and we can’t forget the lovely yannis he works so hard amazing holiday and accommodated for all 72 of us ! Would recommend to others and would 100% return . One thing they could improve on is the night time entertainment for adults .

The hotel, the food and the workers from dinner staff to room cleaners where all lovely, it was spotless. But my shout out goes to the entertainment team and the day time barman by the pool second to none well done guys I'd definitely go again 5 star

Brilliant place , we had the swim up pool which was lovely, food was good, staff were brilliant. We had an issue with our door not working with the card, only took 10 minutes and they were there fixing it. Weather was stunning for may and we all got sun burnt. Loved it so much we have booked for next year already.

We’re currently halfway through our stay at Akti Beach Club and we’ve already said this is one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at. The hotel is clean, tidy and there is a real sense of pride about place. The rooms are spotless and the cleaners do an amazing job. We are staying in 824 which has a shared pool and I would highly recommend it. It’s nice being round the main pool but having that little bit of peach on your porch is amazing and the kids have loved it. However, what has made our holiday is the staff. Every single one of them are without doubt the nicest, kindest people we’ve met. Special mention to Kristos who is the restaurant manager. On day one, he made an effort to find out our names and speak to the boys. Every day without fail he now comes over, shakes our hand and greets the family by name. He is the epitome of kindness - both my boys adore him. Also Yanni at the pool bar. He works on his own all day but hasn’t once given us a drink without a smile and a ‘yamas’ We walked to Kardamaina today and it was a beautiful walk along the coast. Lovely town. This place is absolutely superb and we’re already planning our return. Thank you Akti Beach ❤️
