Labranda Marine Aquapark

This resort falls short of its "4-star" rating with below-average quality and service. Arrival: The start was good; they promised our room in an hour and offered lunch, part of our full-service plan. However, after lunch, communication issues and excuses delayed our room access by an extra hour. Room: The room was decent, even above average, with AC, two bedrooms, and two TVs. The only issue was a detached shower drain, but it was manageable. Food: The food quality brought the experience down. Items like cold, flavorless chicken and unseasoned dishes disappointed us. Only the desserts and yogurt were decent. A**osphere in the Dining Hall: The dining hall felt more like a crowded food court than a premium or peaceful restaurant. Noise from kids was a problem due to the lack of barriers. Beach and Aquapark: The beach had rocky areas, causing minor injuries. However, it was good for scuba diving, with clear water and plenty of fish. The aquapark was visually appealing and had positive feedback, but I couldn't enjoy it much due to a recent injury. Beachside Restaurant and Bar: The food at the beachside restaurant was disappointing, with dry baked goods and fries. Limited options, but good wings and fries. Cats: There were many cats around, but you can find similar experiences elsewhere with better service. Cats are cool, though! Noise at Night: A loud party by the pool on our first night disrupted our sleep. Summary: This resort isn't exceptional but serves as a decent escape from the cold. It's okay, but nothing special. Had a great week staying at this resort, kids loved the aqua park and the kids club with Zoe and Cassidy. Bedrooms were great and restaurant had plenty of choices. Loved doing the activities by the pool in the day with Nate and the shows at night, the children loved the mini disco too! Will be sure to visit again and would 100% recommend for a family!

What a fabulous 11 nights we have had. Lovely welcome on arrival. Room was spacious, clean, great shower and comfortable bed. House keeping was excellent. We loved the adult pool and bar - the lovely Lylian is just great - very friendly and really looked after us. Plenty of sunbeds and we had no need to get up early to reserve! We enjoyed the choice in the buffet, again staff were excellent. We particularly enjoyed the fish night - a really excellent choice, and our evening at the Greek a la carte. The views on the roof terrace are amazing. The pool side snack bar offered a great alternative to the buffet for lunch. We were perfectly happy with the all inclusive drinks and thought the token system for the cups was an excellent idea - no half empty drinks cups lying around. Overall a lovely resort with fantastic customer service and we wouldn't hesitate to return.

Will definitely be returning! From start to finish we had an amazing experience. Kids absolutely loved it. Staff couldn’t do enough for you, everything was so clean & well maintained. Food was amazing!!! Massive selection of different foods & the kids loved all the different variety especially breakfast! Al a carte (Greek one) one word WOW! We will definitely be returning next year! Thank you everyone for an experience we won’t forget!

We haven't been away for 4 years since we had 2 children. We chose this hotel as my son is 3 and is autistic and loves water. We knew he'd get a lot from the slides and the waves pool, those facilities did not disappoint. He thoroughly enjoyed his holiday. My daughter is 1 and loved the attention she got from all the staff. The waitresses were never not cooing over her and all knew her by name. The room was lovely, big enough for 4 of us and comfortable however we didn't like that our terrace was directly onto the loud entertainment which wasn't good for getting our 2 small children to sleep every night. We wouldn't return to this hotel as although you get a stunning view of the mountain and beautiful views of the islands. We weren't happy with the overall location. We were told the bus service no longer runs from the hotel to Kos or Tigaki so you have to pay 13€ per way which sounds cheap but very quickly adds up over 2 weeks. Taxi service not a great system and was often told 10 minutes but would have to wait 30/45 minutes. Roads not suitable for walking on with 2 small children as small, winding and no pavements. We opted to hire a car for one day and found you could cover a lot of the islands must see spots. We did begin to feel a bit trapped. Food was just OK. My biggest gripe is it was often incorrectly labelled. I'm a vegetarian and salads would be marked veggie or vegan and then have meat in it. This sort of thing is unacceptable for people with allergies or dietary requirements. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for people who have to be strict with cutting particular things out of their diet because i never knew if the label was right. Wasn't for us but I'm glad the kids had a good time.

Honest review from the Labranda 8th May - 15th May with 3 small children. Labranda is very clean and well kept hotel. It’s very large. Waiters, waitress’s, house keeping, bar tenders were all 10/10. Couldn’t do more to assist you. Reception staff we found not so helpful, quite arrogant and unhelpful. We arrived at 2am with 3 small children after a long 12 hours of travelling. We arrived in the dark, with no offer of helping us with our luggage to our room, baring mind we had 5 suitcases, it was dark, the routes to the rooms are quite uneven paths, especially with suitcases, we stayed in room 2611 so quite a walking distance from reception, upstairs to then find our key card didn’t work, I then had to walk back down to reception to get this changed with 3 kids waiting outside early hours of the morning, the man on reception didn’t apologise and didn’t really care. Rooms are lovely spacious, comfy and clean. Food - I don’t struggle and I’m not fussy I did enjoy it but it was repetitive as you would expect in an all inclusive. My partner and children are fussy and however really struggled with eating. I was astonished with how busy the restaurants were at meal times considering it was May. It was like a cattle market and quite overwhelming with small children, I had many conversation with other guests of how it felt claustrophobic at meal times getting up getting food. Although the serving staff were so kind. All inclusive drinks were ok. 6 or 7 cocktails. Bog standard house drinks. A menu of cocktails could be purchased at €7 Kids club was a disappoint. No reflection on the lovely staff there. It was just the facilities, quite dated and doom and gloomy. Mini disco 8.30-9 every night apart from Saturday, was the same every night, few songs, but kids loved it. Aquapark and pools were lovely. Always clean. Although we found people reserving the beds closest to the pools and not spending the day there was really annoying, although there is plenty of beds, if you wanted ones closer to the pools for the little ones to be close, you’d find people would leave their belongings on them and leave for the morning/day and come back later. We found the snack bar found to be quite bland and repetitive, again queues for them were huge!! Ice cream parlour served different ice creams at around €1.50, waffles & Crepes around €3.50. Although many times we went and there was no batter mix left for these items to be made. Shower rooms were available to book the day before departure for 30 min time slot, male & females separate. Late check out was offered €70 until 7pm, anything over 7pm was €115. We got a cracking deal, which was well worth the money! Hotel so clean the staff take great pride. Food varied at lunch & dinner and the outside snack bar did some great food. Yes the food wasn't the hottest, which I didn't understand as sometimes someone would leave the serving spoon in with the food and it was too hot to lift out! Our room was lovely, private bedroom for us and our son slept in the lounge. We didn't see the entertainment as it was chilly and our son wasn't interested in the kids club. The hotel lobby has a bar and lots of comfy seating. Lots of charging points in there too for when you're waiting to head home and need to make sure devices are charged. With regards to the tokens for drinks you get a clean cup everytime you get a drink and we kept ours each day for water in the apar**ent....which they give you a large bottle daily for your fridge. It's glass in the hotel bar. Lots of sunbeds around the pool available. WiFi connection is amazing superfast and no weak signals anywhere! Someone on here said it was like butlins....it's not the only resemblance it has is because it is 2 storey blocks (8 on each floor). Downside was very windy for a few days which meant the shore was full of sea**** but once it was calm the sea**** reduced. Also, not near anything which given the deal we'd got we didn't mind and got a taxi into kos 2 of the days....rarely saw a bus! Oh and the hot water could sometimes take a while to come through....seemed to be OK around 4-5pm but even in the morning it was lukewarm. Overall a lovely stay though I'd not return mainly because we realised we like to be near a resort to have a walk around.

Perfect place for families, couples, single. Labranda has beautiful and clean rooms, entertainment for kids and adults every day, activities for kids, pools with slides,waves. Very good food and very nice and helpful staff. We spend one week at Labranda and we were very satisfied.

Staff at pool par super nice, also in restaurant . Rooms lovely but bad sewage smell. Drinks are ok cocktails poor. Kids entertainment at night good hotel decently renovated and is very nice. Pools are good with slides for kids. We only stayed two nights but was enough.
