"We were really looking forward to our stay here, but unfortunately, nothing matched our expectations or the photos shown at the time of booking. Instead of a cozy wooden bungalow with a jungle view, we were given a room in a concrete building with thin wooden partitions that had gaps, making it impossible not to hear every sound and conversation from the neighboring rooms. The room itself was a nightmare: spiders and other insects everywhere, mattresses so worn out that you could feel every spring, and bed linen that did not seem fresh at all. The bathroom was missing basic essentials like soap and toilet paper, while black mold covered parts of the walls. A broken bathroom shelf was hanging crookedly, and the shower only had cold water, with half of it leaking straight from the hose instead of coming out of the showerhead. After a sleepless night, we decided to leave. The owner initially assured us that we would be refunded for the remaining nights but told us to arrange it through ***********. However, Booking only refunded one night, stating that the refund was at the discretion of the owner. When we confronted him again, he suddenly barely spoke English and kept repeating the same sentence, making any further discussion impossible. Other guests also had non-functioning toilets, which reinforced our impression that this place deliberately takes advantage of backpackers. Just a short distance away, we found a far better accommodation for only 4–5 Euros more per night. Conclusion: Absolutely not recommended!"

"This was our first time on Yao Yai. In short, we're here for relaxation... Be sure to check the tide chart to swim at a time that's convenient for you. It's very quiet and peaceful. The breakfasts are delicious, European-style. We stayed in a Deluxe Villa on the top floor. Everything was wonderful. They provided a free bed for our child. Special thanks for that ❤️ We also had dinner at the hotel, and everything was delicious. The pool is always uncrowded, and the bar is open. All reservations must be signed for in the room, with payment upon checkout... As with many hotels. The staff is wonderful. The grounds are well-maintained and very beautiful. At our request via email, we were provided with a roundtrip transfer from the pier for 700 baht each way. Thank you for your hospitality 🙏 We highly recommend."

She arranged collection from the ferry at 100bt per person and we also rented a scooter for 2 days, at 300bt per day. You can organise breakfast if needed, we didn't bother, opting to eat out late morning."

Secara keseluruhan cukup puas Lingkungan: Dibandingkan dengan pulau domestik, bagus banget. Alasan utamanya adalah hotelnya masih sangat baru. Kalau naik penerbangan langsung ke Bandara Phuket dan turun dari pesawat, harus naik mobil ke dermaga⛵️ yang mana membutuhkan waktu 30 menit untuk sampai. Setelah itu sangat disarankan untuk menyewa perahu untuk sampai ke hotel. Karena sudah larut malam, jumlah kami tidak banyak, sehingga pada saat wisatawan lain tiba di hotel, sudah hampir tiba. jam 9 malam setempat. Cara paling hemat adalah menyewa perahu dengan 10 orang! Pelayanan: Benar-benar luar biasa👍👍👍"

"It feels like a brand new 8 villa resort. Or just perfectly maintained. A warm welcome at the pier for a complimentary 25 minute ride to the resort. Welcomed as if we were royals, by Bambie and her team at the resort. The villa had everything you wished for. A plunge pool with jacuzzi. An amazing sunrise view. And tasteful furniture and amazing bed. Every day the staff made sure it was spic and span. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. During our stay there was limited occupancy, but the resort was fully operational. The beach bar was open and so was the restaurant. Their Thai Seafood salad plus extra white rice was to die for: a light, but tasteful dinner. Nothing to complaint we’re already looking forward to a next stay.
