It's nice located at the beach, not to loud where we stayed, but there must be done some renovation after Covid.

Para NO REPETIR Y NO RECOMENDAR. Lo único bueno que tiene es la ubicación que está en plena playa de Sairee. Empleados desagradables, instalaciones nefastas, desayuno cutre con moscas, escaso y de mal calidad. Habitación muy amplia, anticuada, llena de mosquitos, Y SIN SERVICIO DE HACERTE LA HABITACIÓN NINGÚN DÍA, INCLUSO PIDIÉNDOLO. NO HAY CAMBIO DE TOALLAS, NI REPUESTO DE JABÓN. Terrible, no me había pasado nunca. Hicimos el chek-in y dio problemas LA LLAVE (solo nos dieron 1) de la habitación, lo solucionaron en el momento… o eso dijeron. Salimos a cenar, llegamos a las 11:00 pm y la llave no habría la habitación. Fuimos al lobby, no había NADIE, llamamos a 2 tfnos diferentes… no contestaron… en tal desesperación preguntamos al hombre que tiene un negocio de Tatoo en frente del hotel y el nos indicó dónde estaba el personal… TUVIMOS QUE IR A BUSCARLOS AL SITIO DEL DESAYUNO…. Otro edificio diferente… allí estaban de charleta…. EN FIN… PARA NO IR NO REOMENDAR E INCLUSO MEJOR QUE NO EXISTIERA

This resort was not what we expected for the price. On arrival the staff at reception were rude and not welcoming, not willing to answer our questions about breakfast. The bathroom was nice but the bed was really hard and uncomfortable. Our room wasn’t cleaned for the whole 4 nights despite us NOT putting a do not disturb sign up, the bins overflowed and as you can’t flush the toilet paper it had to go to the bin in the bathroom causing it to smell. Our room key card didn’t work well (room 403) took ages for our room to lock and open, we told the receptionist and they sorted it but it happened again straight after getting a new one. The pool had lots of debris, not even sure if it was cleaned.

We had an awful experience at the Seashell dive centre attached to the hotel, and are now out of pocket for 22,000 baht for courses that we couldn’t complete due to the behaviour of the centre manager. We booked and paid upfront for a day of fun dives and 2 AOW courses. After an awful experience where I became very cold and sick on the fun dives due to poor weather conditions and inappropriate kit, we asked to be refunded for the AOW or to wait until conditions were calmer. The manager said that we could not be refunded but could wait for calmer conditions and we extended our time by another week in order to wait for things to calm down. However, the following day we popped into the centre and the managers attitude was completely different, he was rude and difficult and following some very unpleasant interactions with him over the following few days, we took the decision to not go forward with the course. One of the instructors who witnessed the managers behaviour apologised on his behalf giving the excuse that he was in a bad mood as had broken up with his girlfriend ! It was evident that once he had our money, that he had no interest in delivering our course or providing any level of customer care. On the fun dive, kit was poor, with a thin shorty wetsuit provided that was not suitable for the weather conditions, no boots, fins that were too small as they didn’t have any other sizes. Our instructor however was dressed in a full wetsuit and boots etc as said he tends to get cold. There was no provision of snorkels despite PADI guidance stating that these are an essential piece of safety equipment and no basic first aid care / procedures provided for cold, sick customers. When we asked for snorkels, we were told that they are unnecessary and just get in the way. The manager has refused to give his name and diver number despite repeated requests which raises further alarm bells and he ignored all initial emails and messages. Finally, we received a response whereby he said that we had booked onto the course on 3 occasions and not attended. This was completely untrue as no date had been set for us to do it at all. The hotel (who we paid for the course) have not responded to any emails or messages in relation to our complaint and couldn’t have been less interested when I raised it with the reception staff at checkout. My advice is that if you go to Seashell hotel, please AVOID the dive centre. You might be ok if everything is straightforward and you get a good instructor, but if there is a problem then don’t expect any level of care or compassion. We had travelled to Koh Tao to do some fun dives and complete our AOW courses. Our experience at seashell dive centre has ruined our trip to this island. After some detective work, we have established that the dive centre managers name is Hasan Can Toker . I wonder what his reasons for hiding this are ! Again, not the actions of a professional and transparent dive centre manager. As for the hot

We were at the back of the resort. A dark room. Cold shower. TV from the 70s. Bed so hard and the pillows. The advertising picture are of a small block near the beach however you are not offered these rooms. The swimming pool has a lot of boards up which could be dangerous. A very dated hotel that needs some serious investment to o bring it up to scratch. Won't return until then

Lovely hotel, Room 303 which is in a block of 5ish rooms with direct pool access. Rooms have everything you need: TV, Kettle, hairdryer and are immaculately clean with Terrace or Balcony. The on site restaurant is good and is located on the beach. Staff are nice. Busy area with plenty of great restaurants and shops. I'd definitely recommend this hotel and reception can organise all the tours/taxis or diving programmes at very reasonable rates. I believe they offer diving tuition on site

we originally booked for 4 nights, but we couldn't stay for the first night. we tried several times to contact the hotel to explain that we would not be there for the first night but still would be there for the remaining three nights - they ignored our emails. when we requested a change to the dates through *********** the hotel refused to accept a change to our booking. in the end we had to cancel the original booking and rebook for three nights paying in full. The hotel has kept half of our original booking payment – THB 8376 / £185!!! we spoke to the hotel about this when we were there and they promised that they would sort it out, but they have not!!! Location is good, breakfast is ok. The pool area is dangerous with the decking not level - see photos. The main pool was ok, but the others were dirty.

On *********** you see this lovely shot of the sea from the infinity pool of the resort described as “ beachfront “ but it isn’t :( they built a dive shop in front and a restaurant so you can’t see that view from the pool. The place is run down and the management have invested close to nothing on revamping after the covid period. Our room was dank , dark and stinking of mould . Walls were dirty , in desperate need of painting. Bathrooms were below standard from an advertised 3 star ranking . TV was so old it didn’t even have a USB port ! Who ever installed the doors to the terrace did so with a nice gap, perfect for mosquitos from the rubbish piles left around the property to enter ! Meanwhile the door screech when you open them . Sorry neighbour . To top it all it’s duff duff from The nearby bars and clubs til the early hours 🤦🏻 If you like a rock hard mattress ave poor sleep here’s your place . We checked out after 1 night and moved to the south side of the island . Much better 👏

It's in a nice area with lots of cafés and restaurants. It has easy beach access and the beach itself was pretty. You can get a massage at the beach (very good) and there's a restaurant. Staff at the restaurant wasn't really pleasant, but the food was really good. You can tell it used to be a very nice resort. But it needs maintenance. A couple things were broken in the room, like the towel rack and the hot water. There are a lot of bugs outside (mosquitos) and inside (ants, roaches, millipede - ended up in my bag somehow unfortunately - and mosquitos). It was not very clean. The sheets had stains and towels too. When the room was cleaned we didn't get clean sheets, just towels. When I used the water boiler for coffee (free), it tasted kind off 'dusty'. The mattress of the bed was nice. The airconditioning worked good. There was also a window. The wifi worked good, but you had to log in every time you came back from the beach. As it was a national holiday in Thailand it was quite busy, but it was nice and quiet. The minibar was empty, but instead we got 2 water bottles for free each night on the porch. The receptionists were kind. There is also a laundry service, which was good, but down the street it's cheaper. There is a free taxi to the pier. The pool was a little dirty and the jacuzzi didn't turn on. Overall: location is good, receptionists were helpful and kind, it needs a little maintenance and cleaning, b

Not the best hotel in Koh Tao. We ended up there because it was the only available one during the full moon party. The place is far away from the party or the port. They did have a free shuttle service, but to go from/to the hotel it's not an easy road. Very downhill. The beach at the hotel is nice! And the hotel has some hammocks and a nice view but it is really not clean (rooms or pool were dirty, rooms had lots of red ants). I slept in one of the hammocks, but watch out for mosquitoes. Overall, it's a place with great possibilities if the owners took a bit more time to restore it and keep it up.

The hotel would have been fabulous before covid! But it has been left devastated. The gardens, the pools,the hotel itself you can tell has been left without much upkeep. The good news is , I’m sure it will get better. The rooms are very dark and the bed is the hardest I have ever slept on. I actually had to look to see if it was a real mattress we were sleeping on, it was! Pools Could be great but no cushions on sun beds and none of the umbrellas worked.

Altes dreckiges Hotel, überall liegt Müll. Es besteht Verletzungsgefahr aufgrund von defekten Bauteilen, es gucken teilweise verrostete Nägel hervor, die Terrasse um den trüben, milchigen Pool ist stellenweise gebrochen. Sanitäranlagen auf dem Hotelgelände sind verdreckt und stinken. Das WC auf dem Zimmer funktionierte nicht, trotz Meldung an der Rezeption wurde dies erst nach 2 Tagen behoben. Einrichtung im Zimmer sehr alt und teilweise defekt.
