Ulasan Vibe Hotel Canberra

Stayed here as a rest stop for our weekend Perisher trip. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. It’s got parking right under in the basement which was super convenient. We enjoyed our stay!

The hotel’s décor was marvellous, and the room size was perfect – neither too big nor too small. However, the AC was barely working, leaving us uncomfortably warm. The room was also very dusty, especially in the window and top headboard areas, suggesting that cleaning hadn’t been done regularly. Also, the tap and wall near the sink were covered in major toothpaste stains. The worst part was that they had neglected to replace the bed sheet on one of our beds, making us feel uncomfortable and disappointed, especially since we had expected more from a four-star hotel.

Nice hotel. They you looking for somewhere to stay close to airport this hotel got what you need.

Vibe is a stunning building with an amazing bar and restaurant area. Walking distance to the airport.

If you make a quick trip to Canberra for leisure, I recommend this hotel, which locates just 10 min walk from the terminal building.  It is super convenient to hop a R3 bus to the city center.

Staff is very helpful and friendly, quick and good follow up after reporting air condition issue. The room size is not spacious enough and level of hygiene can be better!

First time I've stayed here and from the time I entered the door, until I left the hotel, everything was perfect. I will certainly stay there again.

Excellent place to stay if you have an early-ish flight out of Canberra.

The external design and lobby is beautiful. We were so looking forward to our stay and really wanted to love this hotel. However the service and amenities was lacking for a four star hotel. The staff did not seem very warm and welcoming, which was the first of many unpleasant surprises. Upon checking in we found that the “king bed” still needed to be separated and turned into twin beds, despite us requesting a twin room when booking online. It had been overlooked. They got onto it pretty quickly, but had it been late at night this would have been a problem. As we had a number of bags we requested the use of the luggage trolley. However there was no offer to help with loading or unloading baggage despite us being one small lady and one elderly lady. The mini bar fridge was not cold at all. The drinks were room temperature and I am surprised the Kit Kat in the fridge had not melted! The restaurant and room service menu was very limited and unappetising. The kitchen is only open till 8:30pm. There are no streaming services (e.g Netflix or Foxtel), only FreeTV digital channels. The design of the bathroom was modern and interesting. However the shower could use a towel hook as currently you need to open the shower door (which opens into the main room) and reach a fair distance for the towel. Leading one to be very cold and also not have any privacy when changing for those who might be sharing the room with a family member or friend (instead of a partner). Despite being a four star hotel it does not have a pool, only a gym. Parking underneath the building is an additional $11.50 per 24 hrs but be careful if you go in and out, you may find there are no parking spaces left when you return and you will be directed to the overflow parking station further away. Location wise, it is a stones throw away from the airport which is handy for those travelling by plane. However to get to the city, be prepared to pay a minimum of $40 AUD for a taxi!

Great location so good to be able to walk to airport departure point.. A perfect start to our holiday.

Very nice and chic design with close proximity to the airport. You can always take a bus back to the city if you do not wish to drive.
