I got the suite with the pool, it does not look like the photos. I had a pretty high traffic area where my pool faced, and there’s loud music at the restaurant next door, last thing I wanted when I was hoping for isolation after 8 weeks of rough work on the road. A door was missing in my bedroom and maintenance had to come reinstall it on my second day. Spa never had an availability during my stay, and buggies are required to go anywhere in the park (unless roaming in the heat is your thing). The service was slow at times (I’d often come back to my room and see room service plates stacked outside for a later cleanup) - but my room was meticulously cleaned each day and the buggy staff were incredibly friendly.

We had the most amazing 3 days 2 nights spent at The Ritz-Carlton Koh Samui and we are so glad we made the decision to stay here for our honeymoon. The service provided by the staff was exceptional and greatly appreciated. They have demonstrated outstanding service which truly made a difference. Their attentiveness and hospitality made our experience even more memorable. Special mention to the Reservation Manager, Gine Castillo Aguenza and reception officer, Yady for their hospitality. Little touches such as the double room upgrade, bouquet of red roses, evening cocktail drinks at the lobby, cake in room, daily activities and the shuttle bus to Chaweng Beach did not go unnoticed and these are what made Ritz-Carlton Koh Samui so special! We look forward to returning in the near future!

Arrived at Koh samui extremely early (about 8-9am). Ritz informed us that the rooms were not available yet but they were cleaning it and would let us check in as early as we could. In the meantime, during the wait, they offered free breakfast buffet. The service was impeccable! The hotel is huge so they offer buggy services to every location within the hotel. There is also complimentary shuttle bus to the Chaweng area (but not Fisherman village area). Spent 2 nights there and it was so comfortable. Buffet spread was great in variety and taste. Our rooms were located at the 3rd level so we had some exercise climbing (no lift) every time we returned, so those with issues may want to request a ground floor (but the views are worth it).

Amazing resort. Beautiful location but a bit of a drive to both Chaweng and Fisherman’s village. The service was beyond brilliant. Can’t say enough. Breakfast buffet was sensational Although a big resort and you mainly use a buggy to get around, this is easy and ready available. Will definitely live to come back.

We are very disappointed with this hotel. For breakfast there is no air conditioner; food was good but unfortunately we had no appetite…(even if we arrived at 6:30 am, it’s hot already) Some of stuff are very rude and unpleasant including housekeepers (even in front of us looking at her smartphone and didn’t work well). The service at breakfast was not good, we had to wait for 10 minutes to have coffee. Also they didn’t know how to make iced coffee, so diluted most of the time, the strength of the coffee varies each time…(we could only take iced coffee because it’s too hot) We paid over 100 USD for an extra bed; but just a sofa mattress was covered with sheets in our living room without curtains. So our child had to sleep on the floor with us. They also forgot to make a bed sometimes. Actually stuff was not well trained, we ordered a big car to the airport in advance, but of course they forgot and we got only a normal car where we were packed in the back. We had asked for a few other things but they were completely forgotten…

The hotel met the upper standard with its attentive staffs and services. Breakfast buffet has a large selection that should satisfy all walks of life from Thai breakfast to Indian food. Swimming pool was a bit run down with broken tiles and sometimes sharp edges are found. However, pool staffs are helpful and attentive. For some reason, this resort is targeted more for families including toddlers and children which we don’t expect. But with the appealing surroundings and nice restaurants, it’s generally found it enjoyable.

We were a family of 4, staying in 2 rooms for 2 nights. We were very impressed with the care and attention given to the details by the entire hotel staff. And thank you for the great service provided to our family while staying here. which everyone was impressed and will remember this place in our memories And we thought we'd go back here again. It is a hotel with a very beautiful location in Thailand.

I had an exceptional experience during my stay at the hotel, with everything being excellent—from the service to the amenities. However, I was taken aback by the final bill, as it did not include the cost of my son's stay. It ended up costing me an additional THB18000, which was a bit unexpected and went beyond my initial budget.

The stay is good,but the second day we didn’t get the proper house keeping service . I believe the breakfast time is a proper time to do the housekeeping thing,as all other hotels and resorts I stayed before.After I called the front desk，it took like over an hour to bring me some water and refreshment of the mini bar. Besides this,the stay is delightful and hope to seeing you soon!

The facilities at Ritz Ko Samui are equally impressive. Overall, our time at Ritz Ko Samui exceeded all expectations. It’s the perfect destination for those seeking a luxurious escape in paradise. I can’t wait to return and experience the magic of this beautiful resort once again.

Great service! but if not stay the villa It’s kinda boring and way to far to everywhere

The staff are friendly and always willing to see to your needs, breakfast is plentiful and good but the hotel looks somewhat neglected and run down and it’s really not the same standard compared to other Ritz Carlton hotels or the same level compared to other 5 star hotels on the island like Conrad or Kimpton. If you had to compare them then this is a 3 star hotel at best, the villa is underwhelming, both the villa and resort are in need of a facelift/ upgrade and maintenance.

Great hotel. The rooms are beautiful. Stayed in the villa with amazing private pool and stunning views. The staff is great . Huge property. Great breakfast.

Excellence in every aspect! Good to reach with own vehicle to stay flexible
