Очень милый и уютный отель. Засыпать и просыпаться под шум волн - это что-то! Минус только один - каменистый пляж, который вместе с волнами исключает возможность нормально купаться. Так что про море в этом месте пришлось забыть, только бассейн или ездить на соседние пляжи.

L'établissement est très bien entretenu, propre et situé en bord de mer, avec une belle piscine. Cependant, la baignade en mer est impossible en raison des rochers. Il est recommandé d'avoir une mobylette pour se déplacer. Le seul petit bémol concerne le petit-déjeuner, qui manque de variété et se compose principalement de plats à base d'œufs. Le personnel est très sympathique et serviable.

For anyone reading this review there’s a couple of things I wish I’d known before I booked it… Firstly, although it’s very close to the beach, it’s extremely rocky, no sand & pretty much impossible to get into the sea without breaking an ankle on the slippy rocks - just don’t bother trying. Secondly, the office, restaurant & bar all close at 8pm, so you can’t get a drink past this time, and there’s not much else around so definitely take that into consideration. I found the beds to be comfy, the staff friendly & the pool really lovely. But overall the place is like a morgue, there’s no life to it at night time & it’s really disappointing if you set out wanting to meet like minded travellers. It needs an injection of life in my opinion.

The price-performance ratio is absolutely top! You get clean, simple but well-kept rooms. The staff is very courteous and speaks sufficient English and German. The prices for drinks and food are absolutely top! If you're not looking for excessive luxury but rather a family atmosphere, this is the place for you! Thanks Adrian and team!

Very Nice Resort, with a very friendly staff. The pool area is beautiful and facing the sea. You can enjoy the sunset from the pool, or sit on the rocks in front of the resort. The atmosphere is calm and cozy. We rented a motorbike at the resort, which was very nice for exploring the island. We will definitely stay here next time we visit Koh Chang.

I came here with the wife and kid and an older couple that are close friends of ours. all expats living in Thailand. This place is fantasic. Its basic but has all the neccessities and the owners a great guy. Always smiling and friendly. It was fairly busy when we came for a week and they were very accomodating. when a bigger family room became available last minute he gave us a free upgrade. very clean, great service, if your looking a a great place for a great price and a beautiful sunset view right on the beach this is it we will be back most likely this month again

We needed a room to stay for Songkran in Koh Chang... should have booked before fleeing the smoke in Chiang Mai... there is a reason that this dump had a room available when nowhere else did... just a hair better than sleeping in the car... I could list everything wrong with the room beginning with the A/C not working properly to not being able to sit upright on the toilet (giant toilet paper roll takes up half of the space) to the hardest damn pillows and beds that anyone can imagine. But our real issue was being cheated by the hotel owner... we booked and paid in advance for the month... when it became obvious after daily mention for three days that the A/C needed to be fixed we decided to cancel the remaining time and find accomodations elsewhere... after Songkran there is an unlimited number of rooms available everywhere... note that when we checked in there was an itemization of daily rates leading up to Songkran... Songkran rates themselves... and daily rates after Songkran and we were given an ok for a refund if we decided to leave early if we gave a two or three day notice... we gave a three day notice and were refunded BUT NOT at the agreed upon rates... the owner raised the rates for the time that we stayed and offered a refund less than half of the remaining days rates would have been... I guess that's how his German math works... avoid this place at all costs.

Ich war bereits 2 mal im Pennys Resort und mein nächste Aufenthalt steht nun kurz bevor. Fühle mich dort ausgesprochen wohl und komme deswegen immer genre wieder hier her. Das Highlight ist sicher der schöne, saubere Pool mit direktem Blick auf das Meer. Infinitypool würde wohl in einer Hochglanzbroschüre stehen. Die Zimmer sind sauber und ausreichend groß, TV und Kühlschrank sind ebenfalls vorhanden. Die Bungalows am Pool sind etwas älter, auf der anderen Seite im Garten wurden zusätzliche neue Bungalows gebaut. Der Garten und die Poolanlage wird liebevoll gepflegt und es macht Spaß hier zu verweilen bis man sich zum Strand aufmacht. Obwohl die Anlage direkt am Meer liegt, sollte man für den Strandbesuch jedoch einen der nächsten Strände wählen da dieser hier sehr steinig und nicht wirklich zum Baden geeignet ist, aber der Ausblick aufs Meer vom Resort und Pool aus ist trotzdem nicht zu vernachlässigen. Es gibt Frühstück und eine kleine Auswahl an Gerichten, das Restaurant ist aber nur tagsüber besetzt. Zum Essen sollte man eines der vielen Restaurants in White Sands besuchen. Da das Resort etwas ab vom Schuß ist sollte man zumindest einen Roller haben. Aber dadurch ist es dort auch schön ruhig. Wer dem Trubel eher entfliehen will, ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben. Die Resortleitung ist auch deutsch sprachig. Für das was geboten wird, finde ich Penny Resort wirklich preiswert.
