Lipe Power Beach Resort

The position of the bungalows are right on sunrise Beach. We had bungalow number three which is on the beach from and perfect every morning. I don’t think I would want to stay in any other bungalows past the first two rows they’re basic but sufficient and we had a great stay here. There are lots of boats, but it really isn’t a problem. Easy to walk to walk straight probably 10 to 15 minutes. The breakfast was basic but sufficient I would stay here again.

I stayed for 3 nights in a beachfront room. You can snorkel in front of the resort, a lot of coral and fish. When I stay in the room I can open the AC all the time. The staff are friendly and helpful, the resort have restaurant and bar, Thai food, snacks, coffee, ice cream, I don't have to go outside.

If you really must go to Koh Rubbish don’t stay at this hotel, you have been warned, it looks like a rubbish tip with a big barge that stinks on the beach in front of the hotel which delivers building materials and takes rubbish off the island (there isn’t a big enough barge on the planet to transport the amount of rubbish on the island). The entrance to the hotel when you arrive has rubbish everywhere, and you think “this can’t be it” next door there is a construction site. The huts have AC that works well, but it doesn’t stop the insects getting in through the floor, windows and doors, I stayed there 8 years ago, nothing has been done. The pool looked like a stagnant puddle, the grounds are a mess with yes you know…. rubbish everywhere. Totally uninterested and rude staff, dirty sheets. Surprisingly ok breakfast, dirty stinking beach, 50-60 longtail boats parked on the beach making very high motor noise and nowhere to swim, if you even wanted to swim among the plastic waste, this describes the whole island.8 years ago the water was the best ever, now it’s just anouther destroyed beach, tourists fault perhaps? I don’t think so, no tourists throw rubbish around, we look for places to discard it, what are we paying the national park fee for! the island certainly doesn’t receive any of that money, it just ends up in the wrong pockets, rampant corruption and mafia. I’m sure there are better resorts/guest houses, perhaps not on the beach, but it’s only a five minute walk wherever you are. Never again this resort or Koh Lipe.

Does not look like the photos. We booked three nights and left after first night. Old rooms padlocks for doors to room and safe. Tv didn’t work cause it was raining. Very hard beds

Établissement et chambres extrêmement sales, cafards, cheveux, sable, poussière et moisissures. Nous avons demandé à ce qu’une femme de ménage passe et la réceptionniste ne nous à clairement pas bien reçus. Le petit déjeuner est médiocre vu le prix des chambres, il n’y a même pas de vrai café, les grill-pains sont moisis et les bacs pour les fruits et les viandes sont degueulasses ! Dernier jour la dame oublie notre taxi … Du bruit, de la musique très tôt le matin. Bref, une arnaque.

Bei Ankunft wurde uns verkündet, dass das "Garbage Ship" angelegt habe und es Gerüche geben könnte. Es hat an vier von fünf Tagen gestunken. Die Klimaanlagen sind sehr laut. Und eine läuft immer. Der Dielenboden der Holzhütte war nicht geschlossen. Das Frühstück war akzeptabel, man muss aber NESCAFFEE mögen. Vier Tage eklige Gerüche in der Umgebung kann kein befriedigender Urlaubsort sein.
