Mondschein Hotel

This was our third stay at this lovely and historic hotel. Stuben is an undiscovered gem and the new gondola lift from the village has significantly improved access into the main lift system. The bedrooms are clean and perfectly comfortable and we love the huge photographs of the mountains above Stuben taken in the 1930's. The hotel has made big improvements to the ski room, the spa area, the kitchen, a private dining room and the lift. All making a big difference. But Marcus the owner and the hotel staff are still as friendly helpful and charming as ever. We will be back!

Great hotel, chalets have super views over the village and the valley and servíce is warm and friendly. Nadia and Rasmus in particular very helpful and knowledgeable. DJ night in the bar on Fridays is a blast. Access to slopes via lift from chalets makes it all very easy.

I stayed here with my girlfriend in the suit and it was the most romantic place ever. We were so well received and the room was amazing with the private sauna with a fire place and breakfast was brought to our room with the most amazing view of the mountains. All and all our trip the was amazing and we will definitely be back very soon. 100% recommended to anyone that is in the area and wants to spoil themselves.

After a 2 year absence we were delighted that owner Markus did not sit back and wait for better times. He used the Covid19 imposed closure to continue improving his fabulous hotel. The new dining room compliments the excellent food served. His hotel is ever improving. We look forward to repeating our stay in the 2022-2023 season

Heerlijk hotel. Het eten is goed te noemen. Keuze menu elke dag van goede kwaliteit. Het restaurant is netjes en verzorgd ingericht en comfortabel om te verblijven. De locatie is goed. Paar minuten lopen van de lift. Onze kamer was zeer netjes en mooi ingericht. Personeel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Mooie plek om vanuit te skiën en na het skiën in de lounge met open haard nog even wat te drinken. Opslag van ski's en schoenen in lockers bij het hotel zodat alles weer droog is de volgende dag. Wij zijn voor de t****e keer een paar dagen geweest en zijn erg tevreden.

Das Zimmer war mittelmäßig. Ein riesiger uralter verkommener Teppich lag auf dem Holzboden. Das Frühstück war schlicht eine Frechheit. Die Lebbensmittel waren billigste Qualität. Ein Käseteller der mit Nüssen bestreut war, wurde am nächsten Morgen unverändert einfach wieder hingestellt. Das Frühstück kam aus einer Küche, in der am Abend ein Sternekoch kocht. Das von ihm gekochte Essen war sehr gut. Insgesamt nicht empfehlenswert. Wer sich ein schönes 4 Sterne Hotel vorstellt sollte hier nicht buchen.
