Ulasan The Poem Hotel

1) location - very near the beach (5 minute walk) and near seaside restaurants and 7-11 convenience store but still very quiet and private 2) room was very spacious, clean and well organized with extra, separate beach towels and bath towels plus bath robes 3) staff was courteous and helpful - even got a 2 hour early check-in since it was the middle of the week and not to many guests arriving yet 4) rooftop pool was warm and and the positioning of the infinty edge made you think it "extended" to the sea which brings me to the next great point - a very very nice view of the beach and surrounding areas.

Positives: ＞ Beautifully designed - the outward appearance of the hotel is quite spectacular and is very well decorated. ＞ Comfortable rooms - the beds are large and comfortable with plenty of pillows and cushions and the rooms have plenty of places to sit. ＞ Room size - rooms are large and feel spacious. ＞ Cleanliness - The hotel was immaculately clean in all areas. ＞ Staff - Staff were very friendly and accommodating. ＞ Location - the location is ideal for walkability to shops, restaurants and the beach. Negatives: ＞ Events - The hotel also hosts events which can be very loud and go on late into the night. ＞ Doors/soundproofing - We noticed that there was a significant gap in our door which meant that it wasn't particularly soundproof and we were kept awake most of the night (until 2am) by other guests outside our room. ＞ Location - although I have stated the positives about the location above, the negatives are that the hotel is in close proximity to some bar with live music or karaoke which is incredibly loud and can go on very late into the night. Both the noise from the guests at this hotel and the event down the road was very significant and kept us awake late into the night. ＞ Breakfast - Breakfast is served cold. Although they have the equipment to keep the food warm, for some reason they choose not to. Unless you are lucky enough to catch something as soon as it is placed in the container it will go cold quickly. Eggs, bacon, fried rice, local dishes etc are all cold by the time you get them which is not common for Thai hotels and also very disappointing. Comments for the hotel: ＞ Doors - please ensure all doors do not have gaps in between. This can be done easily with some rubber lining on the door frame. This would increase the soundproofing of the room dramatically. ＞ Noise - I understand that the hotel cannot control the bar down the street which plays loud music all night but it does have control over its own events and its own guests. There should be strict rules about drunk guests making noise late into the night and knocking on doors. Nowhere in the rules does it state "quiet hours" which I believe it should. I understand that events at the hotel serve as a large source of the hotel's income, but there's no need to neglect other guests who stay there. ＞ Breakfast - use the equipment you already own properly and keep the breakfast food hot. I do not know any Thai people who enjoy cold food and keeping the food warm would increase the quality of the breakfast dramatically. Despite being a small cafe, the breakfast has quite a variety and the flavour is good but the temperature of the food really ruins the breakfast.

The hotel room is nice and the soundproofing is good, but the only drawback of the hotel design is that it rains! It is inconvenient to go to breakfast and get on and off the bus because the hotel design does not have a canopy design

The hotel is beautiful and nice in Rayong. Room was Very clean and big, comfy bed and pillows. There are lot of amenities. In the room there is the poem of Phra Sunthorn Vohara (he’s a royal poet began in the reign of King Rama2). Swimming pool was nice. Service is great. Just cross the road to the beach.

Many places to eat around and 7-11 is close. No room service and not selling any drinks in the swimming pool bar even though they have lots of drinks available in the fridge. Strange. Very cool air con

Good location, 100 m from the beach. The beach is usually quiet, a few people, mostly the locals with families and some Scandinavian tourists. Food at the restaurants and on the beach is amazing. The pool of the hotel is nice, clean and tidy. If you like running in the mornings, the road along the beach is so good. From one end to the other end is about 3.4 km and if you do a round trip, you complete your morning run…

Great location. Plenty of restaurants around. Easy to go to the beach.

Good room

ไม่ค่อยสะอาดเท่าไหร่มีเส้นผมอยู่บนเตียงและพื้นห้อง ผนังห้องพบว่ามีรอยถลอกและหลุดออกของผนังห้อง

เป็นโรงแรมที่เงียบสงบอยู่ใกล้หาด ใกล้ร้านของกินสะดวกสบายครับ

ชอบมาพักที่โรงแรมนี้ ถ้าห้องว่างพนักงานจะอัพห้องให้ค่ะ

ไปทำงานที่ระยองครับเลยแวะพัก ดีครับ

ห้องพัก สวยงามสไตล์โมเดิร์น เตียงใหญ่นอนสบาย มีที่จอดรถสะดวกสบาย เดินข้ามถนนไปก็เจอชายหาด ชั้น 5 มีที่นั่งรบลม ชมวิว อาหารเช้าไม่หลากหลาย มีขนมไทยๆให้กินอร่อย

Отель расположен в интересном месте, современный, хорошие номера, классный бассейн, но имеет много минусов. Это: 1. Из 5 дней нашего отдыха, 2 раза вечером закрывали бассейн для банкета, не для гостей отеля. 2, не каждый день убирают комнаты, уровень уборки плохой, под кроватью не убирались не разу. 3. Завтраки холодные, выбор маленький. 4. Громкая музыка до 23.00 с соседнего отеля 5. Не помогли с переносом вещей при заезде и выезде 6. Дети жили на втором этаже, в номере был не приятный затхлый запах Уровень отеля не тянет на 4 звезды, максимум 3 и то с натяжкой. Менеджера отеля надо менять.
