Ulasan Koh Munnork Private Island

The room we get is very nice and huge has 2 bathrooms. The beach is also very beautiful with a lot of lovely peacocks. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Actually we want to relax here as I read a lot of reviews many people say the island was very beautiful and quiet not busy but we had such bad luck. The other group makes noise all the time too loud. Staff apologies about it. I like everything here since I took the boat until I went back. Accept at that time I went too busy and annoyed very much.

The best island resort. Kind staff. White sand and there are many fish when you swim at the beach

จุดเด่น หาดทรายสวย ขาวสะอาด นำ้ไส ทำเลดี ไม่ไกลจากกรุงเทพ การเดินทางสะดวก มีเรือนำเข้าเกาะรวมอยู่แล้ว ที่พักสะอาด ติดหาด เปิดประตูหลังบ้านมา เจอทะเลเลย เดินรอบเกาะได้ มีน้องนกยูงยืนแพนหางเต็มเลย สามารถยืมอุปกรณ์ snorkeling ได้ วิ่งลงไปดูหอยมือเสือตัวเบ้อเริ่ม พอมีปลาสีสันให้เห็นได้บ้าง แต่ไม่หลากหลายมาก มีปะการังแข็ง ปะการังโขด มีปะการังอ่อน ดอกไม้ทะเลบ้างต้องมองดีๆ พนักงานให้การบริการดี ให้ความเป็นส่วนตัวกับลูกค้ามาก อาหารรสชาติดี ชามโต ไม่ให้นำอาหารขึ้นเกาะ ซึ่งดีตรงที่ควบคุมปริมาณขยะ จัดการขยะดี ถังขยะมีฝาปิด ทางร้านใช้หลอดชานอ้อย เป็นมิตรกับสัตว์ทะเล จุดที่สามารถปรับปรุงได้ บ่อพักน้ำทิ้งกลิ่นแรง ในบางจุด ศาลาพักผ่อนริมทะเลหลังบ้าน ไม่ได้ส่วนตัวจริง เพราะมีลูกค้าโซนอื่นมานั่งปาร์ตี้เสียงดังทั้งคืน (ย้ำว่าทั้งคืน จนสะดุ้งตื่นกลางคืน) หลังบ้านเราแต่เราไม่ได้นั่ง ควรมีสงวนความเป็นส่วนตัวให้ลูกค้าบ้านติดหาดด้วย ฝากทางที่พักช่วยดูแลจัดที่ให้ลูกค้าที่มาเป็นกลุ่มด้วยค่ะ

風景很棒，服務態度也很好，喜歡安靜的人應該非常喜歡這裏，食物也不錯，島上的小亭子我非常喜歡。 房間裏不僅沒WIFI, 還沒有信號這點讓我接受不了。娛樂設施太單一了，只有桌球，泳池可以玩。 希望請一個歌手唱些爵士或者鄉村音樂之類的。豐富島上的娛樂活動，否則真是除了吃飯就衹能睡覺了。整體還是不錯的,希望有機會再來。

สวยงาม เหมาะแก่การพักผ่อนทุกรูปแบบ แต่ควรเน้นเรื่องความเหมาะสมของอายุแขกที่เข้าพัก เนื่องจากถ้าเป็นแบบครอบครัวหรือ pet friendly อาจจะมีเสียงรบกวนแขกผู้อื่น

If you’re dreaming of a private island getaway like me, Koh Munnork is pure paradise with 360° ocean views and total castaway vibes. This tiny island is all about slowing down and doing… nothing. It's a three-hour drive from Bangkok and a 40-minute private boat ride. No crowds, no stress - just peace and ocean breezes. The bungalows are simple but comfy, with aircon, private bathrooms (ours had two!), and stunning ocean views. There’s no WiFi or TVs in the rooms, so you’re forced to soak in the beauty of nature. Electricity is also off daily from 9.00am to 1.00pm, which just adds to the unplugged charm. Honestly, I loved every second of disconnecting here - it felt like a much-needed reset. Meals are fresh and focused, with mostly Thai dishes and optional full board (breakfast buffet + set lunch and dinner meals). No dessert or junk food here, but yes, they serve alcohol (beer and cocktails). Koh Munnork isn’t for luxury seekers; it’s for those who want to disconnect, recharge, and truly embrace the sweet, slow island life. I really enjoyed my time here.

Fantastic island resort. A superb venue for events such as weddings. The staff were incredibly friendly and so hard working and couldn’t do enough for us. Very accommodating to all the extra logistics our event required. Beautiful setting with a lovely pool area and beautiful beaches.

Private island, great beach and good for snorkeling. Room quality is lower than standard, food and drink price is unreasonably high. Curtain is so thin and short, outside can see in the room. We had to fix by putting some things to block and hold the curtain. Sink is smelly, probably from the drain pipe. Once is enough for experience, it is very pricey as it is private island, no other hotel.

It’s basically a small private island. About 45 min via a ferry and boat ride. And about 3 - 3.5 hours drive from Bangkok. We stayed in the Beachview Bungalows. These are relatively basic but spacious. Love the huge changing room area with the big mirror. All the rooms have no electricity between 9am to 1pm, and there are no TVs. Wi-Fi is on the slow side and available in the reception area. The mattress was on the thicker side but it was still comfy. We stayed for 2 nights. The breakfast buffet was yummy and the same for both days. There are some vegetarian options on the lunch and dinner menu. I think the food is ok. Some items are really good. Some are above average but don’t stand out as much. You can also top up water at the restaurant’s water dispensers. Expect insect bites - so mosquito repellants is highly recommended. We tried snorkeling, and the resort has snorkeling gear for loan. We found some coral and fish in the waters near the resort. These areas are marked with floating balls anchored to the sea bed. The coral and fish don’t look like what we see on Nat Geo, but they still look nice. You can also rent kayaks. The infinity pool is small but very good for photos and chilling. The beach area around the resort is generally clean and great for photo ops. The walk around the island - near Bungalow B12 which is furthest from the reception - takes about 45 min to 60 min and covers an approximate distance of 1.6 km. There are some very nice scenic spots along the trail. Lots of washed up rubbish along the way too, just to show how much we humans discard. Just have proper footwear (non-slip, good grip) as parts of the path include climbing over rocks and navigating steep paths. There are ropes along the steep sections and signs along the path. Some of the huts by the beach have power points - probably beneficial if you have to check out at 11:30am but the ferry back to mainland sets off only at 3pm. Lots of peacocks on the island. All very docile. Arrangements from check in to check out was smooth. I also got the resort to arrange a taxi for us back to Bangkok after we check out. It was the more pricey option, but time saving. All in all - the resort is relatively clean. The staff are fantastic. It’s a great place for friends, families and couples to hang out and chill.

Eine Woche vor dem Aufenthalt auf Koh Munnork wurde uns die Buchung storniert wegen angeblicher Unwetterschäden. Darum haben wir eine Unterkunft nahe der Insel auf dem Festland gemietet und einen Ausflug mit einem Fischerboot zu nahe gelegenen Inseln um dort zu schnorcheln. Der Bootseigner hat uns mitgeteilt, dass in dem besagten Zeitraum kein Sturm war und das die Inselbesitzer mit grosser Wahrscheinlichkeit eine Buchung von einer grösseren Gruppe erhielt, die diese Insel für sich allein haben wollten, auch eine Bekannte von uns, die in Rayong wohnt, hat nichts von einem Sturm mitbekommen. Die Rückerstattung unseres Geldes hatte uns cirka 8-10 mühsame Telefonate gekostet. Wir werden sicher nie wieder Ferien auf dieser Insel buchen !
