I initially chose it because the location seemed close to Kinmen Shangyi Airport on the map, but it's actually quite far from the airport terminal, not within walking distance... However, bus number 3 is very convenient for getting to the airport terminal if you know how to take the bus in Kinmen... The surrounding area is just a rural area called "Xiguoshan," not much commercial activity, a very quiet place..."

"My trip to Xiamen was a backpacking adventure. I arrived at the guesthouse on a really steep slope from the ferry terminal by taxi. There was no doorbell, so I had to knock on the door. I planned to stay one night to catch my flight the next morning. I slept in a lower bunk. The guesthouse was simple and rustic; the door was an old-fashioned one. The bed was clean and dry. It's a short walk to the alley entrance where you can take a bus from Gugang Station to Jincheng Station. I had two bowls of beef noodles with beef tendon – super delicious! The alleyway was charming and quaint, with kittens, a big banyan tree, and a friendly old lady. A great experience! After checking out, I took a taxi to the airport (about 300 RMB), which was a bit of a distance."

It's especially quiet at night thanks to excellent soundproofing. The Thai Golden Elephant 95D latex mattresses are very comfortable. There's also a great outdoor terrace on the second and third floors, perfect for friends to gather, chat, and socialize. The owner warmly welcomes every guest. The location is in a bustling area, near a Kangshimei store (a popular shopping destination for mainland Chinese tourists) and a Jinwan souvenir shop next door. The owner says his wish is for all guests to have a comfortable, safe, and enjoyable stay, making them feel right at home and encouraging them to return with family and friends."
