Friendly, helpful hosts. Clean and cosy room with comfortable bed and a helpful information file recommending stuff to do and good places to eat. Lovely toiletries provided in the en-suite shower room. Great, tasty cooked breakfast and many good uncooked options with a wrapped gift of delicious cake to eat later. Overall, a lovely experience that we would strongly recommend.

This is a fabulous guest house, close to everything Keswick has to offer. It is very dog friendly and the hosts are great at recommending local places for food, drinks and activities. The rooms are clean and comfortable and breakfast is superb. Highly recommended!

Absolutely fantastic guest house, perfect location 5 min walk to town, plenty of street parking, very friendly owners even provided some cake on departure. We had the king suite which was very spacious with lovely views, breakfast was lovely too. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend in fact we already have to family.

We had an enjoyable couple of nights. The room was small and the bed wasn't particularly comfortable but the welcome and service was excellent and the breakfast was good. Every departing guest also received a piece of homemade cake which was a nice touch. The property is very handy for walking into town.

Just returned from 3 nights, was met by our host who was really friendly and helpful. We stayed in room 3 which had a lovely comfy double bed and a couch, plenty room for 2 adults and 2 dogs. You ordered breakfast the evening before and it was delicious and well presented. Nothing was too much trouble and we were provided with appropriate walks we could do based on the snowy weather. On our last morning we were given a leaving gift of cake which was absolutely beautiful, I would love the recipe 😊. The location was perfect just a short 5 minute walk from Shops, bars and restaurants. Thank you both for making our stay so enjoyable and for making our dogs so welcome. We will definitely be returning.

The owners are super guys and make you feel very welcome. We have stayed previously and had the attic room. This time we were given room 2 and it was definitely not as good. Cleanliness could have been much better, extractor above sink full of dust and dust on wall next to it. Shower doors had soap scum marks and an old toothpaste ring on the shelf above sink. As it's the start of the season the house should be spotless. The lights in the bedroom could be brighter, especially over the tea & coffee area. Breakfast is ordered the night before and presented very well with good choices. A nice touch to have the toaster in the dining room. Personally I would not allow dogs in the dining room at breakfast time, we witness a lurcher jumping up at the table.
