Cavos Beach House

We were a group of 5 girls on a 4 night stay and got upgraded to an apar**ent so we could all be together which was nice. Hotel does have wifi but signal is patchy. Room was clean and tidy on arrival. Only issue with the room was the shower. Very small, dirty and awful water pressure meant it almost impossible for us to wash hair. Main complaint about the hotel was the lack of pool. Online when we booked it and when looking up reviews including on Trip Advisor, it clearly shows ‘Cavo D’Oro’ as the pool area with sun loungers and a bar. This is in fact a completely different hotel with a pool and bar, 5 mins down the road and we were unable to use any of the facilities unless we wanted to pay €10 per person, per day. Very misleading when booking the holiday as the main images show the pool area. Whereas Cavos Beach House Hotel does not have a pool. Another thing we found a little strange, was the of the hotel Maria (who was also the housekeeping) but would come into our room unannounced, at random times of day. This included 8pm when we were getting ready and 11am when we were sleeping.

Maria and her husband were incredibly welcoming and friendly to me and my two girl friends when we stayed, even ensuring that we were given little discounts in some of the pricier restaurants and giving us extra toilet roll when we ran out. It stated that the wifi was free "in public spaces" however we were given the password straight away by Maria and were thrilled to see that it reached our apar**ent well, so no wifi costs! The apar**ent (two bedroom) that we stayed in was beautiful and well-kept, with three balconies which was amazing and lots of storage space. The kitchen appliances worked perfectly, and the hairdryers were nice and strong which makes a change to places we have stayed before. The fairy lights wrapped around the trees at the entrance was a lovely touch, and the lanterns that occasionally lined the pathway to the building really made the place feel magical. Be aware however that some sites may display Cavos Beach House as including a pool and bar. However this is not the case. Fortunately, there is a lovely pool literally not even a 10 second walk from the apar**ents and we could stay there for the whole day if we bought a couple drinks (very cheap too!), as well as the beach being minutes away on foot. The apar**ent was also an easy 5-10 minute walk from the main clubs and pool party locations, meaning that you don't hear a huge racket at night, but also for those in their 20s like us, we could easily walk back when we were drunk at 4am every day. To sum up, Cavos Beach House was a beautiful location for a holiday, and we are definitely recommending it to our other friends (we might even stay there again given the chance!). One person who came back for dinner to the apar**ent even marvelled at how spacious our apar**ent was compared to the higher populated hotels! This place should easily be given more stars, and you can tell the hosts put their heart and souls into the place. Thank you!
