Location wise, walking distance to the town center. Its actually opposite Fathiye Cami.
The room was clean and huge. Toilet is okay. The staff was so helpful. Before I arrive there I texted the staff to ask about the room. When I arrive Kars it was 10pm and no taxi nearby.
I texted the staff again and ask him a favour to book me a taxi and he responded immediately and told me taxi will arrive in 7 minutes. Complete with car plate number and driver’s name! 😇
Breakfast was normal Turkish breakfast and the restaurant is quite huge.
Overall satisfied!

Отель уже "уставший", что заметно по отделке и обстановке.
Дали номер с двуспальной кроватью, хотя бронировали с 2я односпальными. И один комплект полотенец на 2 человека))
В остальном - чисто и недорого. Хорошие завтраки.
Бронировали как транзитный, на одну ночь, так что недочёты особо не напрягли.

The saying ‘you get what you pay for’ is true for this hotel. I never give negative feedback as I believe it can be very damaging to business. Let’s just say that it’s adequate. Just don’t look into the corners. Meh.

Horrible attempt at making a 4-star hotel with screechy furnitures, smell of cigarette smoke everywhere, absence of any ventilation etc. On a positive side, the parking has a padlock

Overall the hotel was ok, it seems it was renovated not a long time ago. Location was not at city center but city center, train station and other parts of the city were reachable within 10-15 min of walking.
The best thing about this hotel was the personnel, they were very helpful despite lack of English (arranged taxi to Ani, arranged laundry, gave information about other things, were very friendly at breakfast).
The room was clean but the bathroom not. At the arrival the toilet was dirty from someone else...
The breakfast was offering a decent variety.
