You can easily walk everywhere. The receptionist Neşe welcomed us with a smile and helped us with everything. The tea treats were also very much appreciated. Nothing went wrong during our stay at the hotel. The breakfast was sufficient and maybe some pastries and breads could be added. This is our address for Kars."

"This is a gem of a location, with an amazing ambiance. A former caravanserai, the decorating of this hotel is opulent. While the rooms are not that big, the decor more than makes up for it. Original stone walls, large chandeliers, beautiful kilm carpets in the rooms. We were talking and wanted to pack the carpets in our luggage and take them home! The bathrooms are decorated with outstanding tiles and colour scheme. While it wasn't very big, it was properly lit and and warm. it's possible to walk down the hill to the centre of town, where we visited a tea shop and sat outside drinking chai. The breakfast was modest for a buffet but tasty and adequate. I would recommend that the hotel staff be a bit more hospitable, especially those who work the front desk. They should greet the visitors, and not just ignore them when they arrive, even if it's after check in. "

"We went to the pool, it was awful, it literally had bleach in it, our eyes and throats burned, and they gave everyone yogurt to prevent poisoning. It was a disgrace, the money we paid wasn't earned. My friend's face turned red like a tomato, the other one almost threw up. Those who don't believe me can go and experience it."

"Reasonable prices and, above all, a perfect hotel location. I stayed in a twin room on the third floor with one double bed and one single bed. The staff were very friendly, and it was close to the bus stop for the Ani ruins. The train station was 15 minutes away. There were plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby, making it very convenient. Even with these minor issues, I was very satisfied with my stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for good value for money."

"The hotel was in a great location with lots of on street parking just outside. The historic centre of Kars was about 5 minutes walk and the area was clean and quiet. Our check in was lovely, polite and helpful and the room was a good size with a desk to work at and even a kettle. Breakfast was ok with lots of items to choose from but nothing was labelled so, as a European, I had no idea what things were. The hotel itself was very clean and quiet and the wifi worked well."

The internet connection is poor in room 210, which must be too far from the modem. There is no meal service or alcohol sales, but you can order or bring in from outside. Brochures on nearby attractions would be welcome in the lobby. We had a very pleasant stay despite these small shortcomings."
