Olea Africana Lodge

This was a 10/10 excellent experience! Everything from the staff, decor, beauty, nature and comfort was perfect. The service was impeccable. It’s truly where luxury meets nature, and I wish I could have spent more time here. Highly recommend!

A wonderful welcome from the staff with refreshing drinks. Fabulous room, spotless and great facilities. Loved that you walk past vegetable & flower beds on your way to the rooms. The staff were warm and friendly- nothing was too much.

My husband and stayed here for two nights (non-consecutively) around safari trips and we loved it. We were greeted with an amazing song and dance from both the staff and local Masai on arrival and offered fresh juice. The manager of the hotel made himself known early on and checked on us regularly. We were shown to our room which had plenty of storage and was very quiet at night. NB; if you’re celebrating something special, make sure to let the hotel know in advance as we hadn’t realised and when they clocked that we were on our honeymoon, they upgraded us to a huge room for the second night! The hotel pool is peaceful, albeit a little cold, and they set up a camp fire in the evenings to enjoy a gin around which was a nice touch. The food is great and the breakfast extensive. The staff are the best thing about this place; Sayanga, part of the Masai who works at the hotel, took the time to share his stories with us. And special mention goes to Esther; she became like my surrogate mum when we were there; just the sweetest person and an incredibly hard worker. We were sang goodbye to as well and we left feeling very happy!

Our stay at Pamoja was excellent. The rooms were nice, good food, and very nice selection of drinks. The box lunch choices were the best I’ve seen in several years working in east Africa. Great customer service from Esther and Celina. The bathrooms are beautiful and the grounds are too. They grow the food on site and the coffee as well. I think it’s my favorite lodge I’ve stayed at in Africa!

One of the most beautiful hotels we have stayed in. Built around a banana and coffee plantation all rooms have stunning views of the lush vegetation. A small downside is that we do not have wifi in the rooms. The common area is beautiful. There is also an outdoor area with a fire for an aperitif in the evening. The buffet is tasty.

We stayed here the 30 and 31 of December 2022 We had a fantastic stay in their rooms with an intimate view to the plantation Every single room had its terrace shaded from others view by trees and flowers The rooms were very clean, wide and comfortable The common room was very warm with a fire place A fire place was also present in the garden for late evening talks Breakfast, lunch (and packed lunch) and dinner were super: nice and abundant We had a 18 year’s birthday party and New Year’s Eve party and they were very well organized

Am Ende unserer Safari wurden wir sehr herzlich von dem Pamoja Team mit einem traditionellen Tanz von den Massai in Empfang genommen. Die Lodge liegt sehr schön inmitten einer Kaffeeplantage am Rande von Karatu. Das ganze Hotelteam inclusive Chef haben uns mit einer beispiellosen Gastfreundschaft empfangen. Unsere ruhigen Zimmer waren groß und sauber und in jeweils eigenständigen Einheiten auf der nachhaltig geführten Anlage verbreitet. Die Speisen wurden alle am Buffet serviert und waren sehr gut, der Service dazu vorbildlich. WLAN ist nur um das Haupthaus vorhanden.

Très bel acceuil à notre arrivée. On nous dédie deux membres du personnel à nos soins: quelqu'un peut pour les besoins reliés à la chambre, dans notre cas un immense merci à Célina et quelqu'un pour la nourriture et les boissons. Nous avons pu facilement échanger avec les gens sur place qui ont vraiment envie de partager leur vie. Chambre parfaite avec lit king, cheminée, salle de bain très spacieuse et balcon privé. Possibilité de visiter l'exploitation de café. Restaurant super!!

Accueil en chanson par des massaï et un jus de pastèque. Tout le personnel est adorable et au petit soin. Les lodges sont immenses et très bien aménagés. Les repas sont servis sous forme de buffet qui sont très bien garnis. J’ai également apprécié qu’on me laisse choisir ce que je voulais mettre dans mon pique-nique du midi, cela évite le gaspillage.
