Jasvilas

Jas Vilas is a gem. It is like an oasis tucked away on a busy street, and more like staying in a home than being in a hotel. If you are looking for a gym, room service, an al-night bar and a business center, this hotel is not for you. Meticulously decorated and curated in an eclectic decor with beautiful plants and flowers, the owners - who live on the property - have truly put their hearts and souls into making Jas Vilas a very special place. Their dedicated staff (many of whom have worked there over 20 years) are helpful, the food is delicious and the ambiance is wonderful. We ate every meal there al fresco on the beautiful patio (see photos). If I go back to Jaipur, there is no doubt that I would stay at Jas Vilas again.

We checked in here for three nights to take in the main sights of Jaipur. Located in Bani Park on a main road its a short trip to all of the main attractions and the railway station. Its set back from the main road so is quiet at the back of property around the pool area. Room: we stayed in a heritage suite on the ground floor (room 108). Gorgeous chandeliers in the bedroom and bathroom, fountain full of rose petals, luscious decorations and furnishings...there is so much to love about this suite. Also the Nyassa toiletries, its a real treat. Food: The freshly squeezed orange juice and homemade plum jam deserve a mention at breakfast time. We ate here twice for dinner. There is a good choice of both Indian and European dishes. Portions are very generous so bring your appetite. Meals can be taken in the dining room or out by the pool. A big shout out for the cheese, tomato and onion toasted sandwiches when we wanted a break from Indian food. Getting there & away: we arrived via a transfer from Ranthambore and organised our short taxi trip to the railway station with the hotel. Service here is excellent, staff are very helpful and attentive. Its such a oasis and we look forward to returning and staying longer.

Pleasant hotel with friendly staff. Food choices pretty good and quality very good. Nice to have a pool for swimming. Comfortable large room and large bathroom. Location quiet but access to old city at the time we were there hampered by bad traffic - taking anything up to forty-five minutes each way.

My favorite hotel during my India trip. Loved the paintungs on the walls and cosey interior. Friendly staff and breakfast was delicious cooked to order. Swimming pool was refreshing in the heat in August. Good location quiet and not too far from the city center. Highly recommend this hotel.

Quite place a bit out of town. An older property but with lots of character. We had 2 rooms. Rooms were spacious nice king sized bed. Good cleaning of rooms and bathroom. Bathroom was cleaning not the luxury amenities but soap and shampoo and a nice hot shower. Food is excellent and service was caring with a smile. My wife, my niece and I loved this place. More than value for money. We are getting tired of the sanitized 5 star hotels. This is truly a hidden gem. Due to off season there weren't a lot of people so we enjoyed the place almost to ourselves. Thank you Jas Villas team for a memorable time spent with you all.

If you like quaint, traditional hotels with attention to detail then you will love this hotel build in the 1950s. It is pristine, peaceful and only a 15 min tut tut journey (80p on Uber) away from the busy city centre. The pool and restaurant are fantastic. Breakfast is cooked to order and very well prepared. No noise, just a little paradise near to Jaipur city centre. About 30 mins taxi from the airport (£5 to 10 cost). Highly recommended!
