Hotel y Aguas Termales de Chignahuapan

The thermal pools were ok, the hotel rooms basic but the food was HORRIBLE! We got talked into upgrading and getting a meal package for breakfast and dinner. Everything was COLD, BLAND, STALE! For dinner the buffet included Fruit loops cereal, pancakes, cold fries, really stale buns, Luke warm tasteless soup, chicken legs covered in piles of sugary barbecue sauce. I didn't eat a thing! Breakfast was just as pitiful. Are 3 weeks of travel in Mexico this was the worst food we have been served. All the guests were complaining about how bad it was. When I checked out I told them at reception that the food was terrible they just smiled, nodded and said "si".

We had an exceptional stay at the Aguas Termales - we were fortunate enough to book a room during their Independence Day celebration, which cost a little extra for the party, and was totally worth it. Included in the price of the room were three meals a day for my friend and myself - the price was worth the meals alone. The buffet tables were loaded with plentiful and delicious food and the service was impeccable. The hotel is in a somewhat isolated location, so there are no other options for meals in the close vicinity. The surrounding views are of lush green mountains. The water in our oversized bath was from the hot springs and made for a wonderful private bathing experience. They also have family friendly public bathing areas. There is a spa with massages available, as well as a hot tub with a view and a meditation room. An amazing deal for the price. Plan on staying at the hotel for several days for the full effect.

No es la primera vez que visito el lugar, pero en particular quisiera reconocer la proactividad del personal de recepción quien amablemente, ante la inasistencia de una persona, ofreció realizar un reembolso de una habitación. Comúnmente estos trámites no se realizan, sino que se reagenda en otra fecha: no hay devoluciones. En el caso la devolución fue de manera inmediata y en efectivo. Respecto al lugar, el concepto de tener en tu propia habitación un espacio de tina con agua termal es lo más destacable del lugar, que lo hace muy diferente a otros similares. La comida del restaurante es tipo buffet y es bastante buena, en contraste a otros lugares de buffet, la comida tiene buen sabor y variedad, y vuelven a surtir los alimentos que se terminan. El personal del hotel, además de la recepción, excelente; tuvimos un incidente con una llanta ponchada y el personal del estacionamiento se ofreció a cambiarla. En suma, una opción excelente de descanso y olvid**** del día a día. Solamente haría 3 observaciones finales: 1) La idea del lugar, me parece, es hosped**** y aprovechar los alimentos, es decir, no salir del hotel, pues si se tuviera que regresar a Chignahuapan el camino es de terracería y conlleva unos 20-25 minutos. 2) En el baño sería conveniente colocar un toallero o soporte para la toalla de manos. 3) Por las mañanas, particularmente, el agua de las albercas está demasiado caliente. Creo que aunque se trate de una característica y forme parte del concepto de "agua termal" también sería conveniente que el agua estuviese algo más tibia.

Mal trato de seguridad y gerente ya que te obligan a consumir les sus alimentos chatarras y a altos precios no nos dejaron salir a comer y son inflexibles además tienen reconstrucción y está muy peligroso las duchas no tienen agua caliente y huelen mal. Cobran muy caro la renta de loker no abrieron todas las albercas y la gente se junto mucho en un solo lugar. Pésimo no vuelvo a ir.

Las instalaciones estuvieron muy bien, el único inconveniente que tuve es que me hicieron dos cargos por la habitación, el primero dicen que no les apareció en su terminal y hoy me obligaron a volver a pasar la tarjeta pero en mi cuenta ya descontaron ambos cargos

Es un ASCO DE HOTEL llegamos Mi esposo y yo el dia 22 de Noviembre hicimos el registro a la 1:00 p.m. Después de que nos enseñaron dos habitaciones la primera DE HORROR espantosa, cuándo abrieron la puerta para mostrarla habia un OLOR HORRIBLE DESAGRADABLE A MUGRE Y ENCIERRO, decidimos la segunda una dizque habitación TERMAL DOBLE que se veía menos peor Con un costo por noche de $3,299 pesos, con derecho a la comida de éste día, cena y desayuno del dia siguiente, Cómo la hora de entrega de la habitación era hasta las 3:00 p.m. la Recepcionista Tania nos puso un brazalete y nos dijo aue podíamos pasar a comer pero nos fue IMPOSIBLE INGRESAR AL COMEDOR YA QUE ESTABA ATIBORRADO POR MAS DE 60 personas o más que llegaron de UNA EXCURSIÓN EXTERNA LA MUCHACHA ENCARGADA DE DAR LA MESA COMPLETAMENTE REBASADA EN SU CAPACIDAD POR TAL CANTIDAD DE GENTE NOS IMPIDIÓ LA ENTRADA AL RESTAURANTE HASTA DESPUÉS DE LAS 2:00 P. M. AGREGO QUE AFUERA HABIA UNA FILA DE OTRO GRUPO DE IGUAL CANTIDAD DE GENTE DE LA QUE ESTABA ADENTRO también en espera de MESA PARA ENTRAR Cuándo por fin pudimos entrar eran 2:20 p.m. NOS DIERON UNA MESA LOS MESEROS DESESPERADOS IGUALMENTE REBASADOS POR TANTAS PERSONAS QUE ATENDER CORRIENDO DESESPERADOS DE UN LADO A OTRO EN TOTAL CAOS Y DESORDEN EL COLMO FUE CUÁNDO QUISIMOS COMER DEL SEUDO BUFETE Y YA NO HABIA NADA!!!!! Sólo quedaba sobras, Por LO QUE REGRESAMOS ENOJADOS, INDIGNADOS Y NO CABÍAMOS DEL VER EL NULO SERVICIO Y CERO PREPARACIÓN DESDE LA RECEPCIÓN HASTA TODO EL PERSONAL, EL HOTEL VIEJO, DESCUIDADO, MUGROSO EN RESUMEN DE PESADILLA, EXIGIMOS LA CANCELACIÓN DE LA HABITACIÓN Y LA DEVOLUCIÓN A LA TARJETA CON LA QUE PAGAMOS, Y SALIMOS CÓMO DE RAYO DE ÉSTE ESPANTOSO HOTEL SIRVA DE ADVERTENCIA NUESTRA TRAUMATICA EXPERIENCIA PARA QUE NO CAIGAN EN EL ENGAÑO ES UN ROBO LO QUE COBRAN PARA LA BASURA DE LUGAR..... LE DAMOS 0 DE CALIFICACIÓN

Está bien, sin embargo es muy costoso para lo que es, aún para ser temporada alta.
