It was a great hotel and restaurant with nice people, everyone was polite and funny, helped with everything. Very clean and cute small hotel , tasty breakfast. Highly recommended 😘🥳🌸

The hotel is located at the İstanbul provincial government street. The view from the window is good. Breakfast was good. The only problem was that the elevator was going to the fifth floor and we needed to climb the stair one more floor.

Great experience. Location is superb in old city. Very close proximity to hagia sophia, cruise pier, topkapi, grand bazaar, etc. There are plenty of cafes, restaurants, souvenir shops close to the hotel as well. Breakfast was above average, no complaints. Lift, although small but adequate especially during transporting heavy luggages. For the price that we paid, this was a steal!!

Good hotel and good location, staff was very helpful and they speak English which is a good sign for foreigners, but wifi isn’t that good enough. Delicious breakfast though

Sehr schöne Lage und Sauberkeit ist auch sehr gut. Nur Zimmer Ausstattungen sind sehr alt und muss erneuert werden. Ich war bis jetzt 4 mal dort und würde es wieder nehmen. Zimmer sind schon bisschen eng, aber zum Schlafen reicht es

Room was very small, house keeping was average & beak fast was average too. Kettle in the room wasn’t clean enough to use. Location and staff were good

Cheap, good breakfast, helpful staff, 2 mins walking to public transport, free water everyday.

This is my fifth time staying here. I love the location. The restaurant downstairs has great food for lunch and dinner.

Predictable central location good value for money My sixth or seventh stay - plus a COVID cancellation ……. The Agan has become my favourite hotel in Istanbul. It’s not the most luxurious I’ve stayed at in the city but its friendly staff, great location, predictability and value for money make it ideal for me. The buffet breakfast is predictably chaotic, the selection is great (remember Nescafé is king in Turkey and I’ve got to expect the standard watered down fruit juice by now). There’s a bar and a restaurant in the hotel but also dozens more within a few minutes’ walk. Sultanahmet attractions within a short walk and the rest of Istanbul easy to get to starting with Marmara line or tram. If you’re using public transport to get here you’re most likely getting off at Sirkeci station on the Marmara line: Use the elevator at exit number 4 to get to Agan avoiding an unnecessarily long walk.

Enjoyed the stay at the Agan, staff were great, this hotel is located perfectly for visiting all areas of the old city. For the guests 😊 please check bed size the beds are doubles and compared with other countries rooms are smallish. Would stay here again
