Miray Hotel

We stayed for 14 nights at the Mirary Hotel in May 2023. I picked this Hotel based on the reviews I read. It stood up to the reviews. It location was brilliant. You are less than 200 meters from the main ***** and less than 10mins from the beach. The hotel staff were very nice and made you feel safe. So safe that a lot of single women and men came to stay on their own. Our rooms were cleaned daily. The pool was.also nice to swim in too. There was someone on duty 24hrs. The breakfast was self serve and had a variety of turkish food served also served with cereals and hot plates of which you could have a choice of different cooked eggs and other hot turkish dishes.. Tea and coffee and juice etc. The manager was also accommodating and helpful. They have a bar called blondies which serves food if you don't want to go out. Which was nice and tasty. There is a bar across from the hotel which comes to life. Our room was comfortable and fitted our needs too. If we had the patio doors open you could hear the bars. But if you closed them the doors were like sound proof the noise away. There was lots to do in icemler. I can recommend if you like to have some fun book on the jeep safari which was really a fun experience. On the beach there is a taxi boat that can take you to turunc a small village for 200 lira there and 200 lira back and you could also go to marmaris too if you didn'twant to go on the local buses.. We visited the Turkish baths and had a relaxing trip on the lazy boat. There are plenty of restaurants bars on the ***** to choose from too. As the Miray hotel is a budget hotel you got more hospitality and experience from our stay then what a budget hotel would give you. We will be coming back again next year a bit later on in the middle of the season to see what its like and we will be definitely be staying the Miray hotel again.

Great little no frills hotel right in the middle of Icmeler close to all amenities. The room was small a bit dated but adequate the bed was firm but comfortable and very clean the bathroom had a shower complete with a hair dryer supplied. We were on the 3rd floor accessed by a lift on the side facing the sea which could just be seen looking through the gaps in the buildings but it was only a short walk to the beach. The staff was always friendly, but there is a noisy bar opposite that may cause concern if you have a front-facing room ours was ok once we closed the patio doors you could barely hear it. The air conditioning was a must for us and was an extra £45 a week there is a small fridge in the room great for keeping your water cool or milk fresh if you take a kettle to have tea and coffee as none is supplied. Breakfast is of local foods and cereals but you can get a full English at the restaurant just next door or the Red Lion down the road for £5 great value for money. The pool is small but great to sit around on the supplied sun beds and great to cool off in they also have a small kiddies pool. All in all, we both enjoyed our stay.

Nice hotel, right in the centre of Icmeler.Stuff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean . Very good coctails in the bar :) The beach is just a few minutes walk. Pool outside and sunbeds available for use . Shops, bars , restaurants nearby. Thank you for the stay .

Excellent basic hotel, right in the heart of Icmeler with the beach just a few mins walk away, hotel is clean and staff look after you, Couldn't fault anything for us. Highly recommend this family run hotel. Love Cyrius too, hotel management woofer,¹ what an addition to the staffing....🥰

An absolute gem of a hotel. Centrally located, spotlessly clean and a level of service which would normally only be available in far more expensive hotels. Omer and his team make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. Their hospitality isn't forced, it feels entirely genuine and they make you feel like a member of the family. The rooms are reasonably sized and everything is well maintained. The breakfasts are plentiful, well cooked and with a lot of choices. A special "Thank You" to the lady who cleaned our rooms (sorry, I should have asked her name). She was so nice and friendly and kept our room so clean. She is a genuine treasure Thank you Miray, hope to be back soon!

Clean basic Hotel, helpful & friendly staff. The small swimming pool to rear of building does spend a lot of the day in shadow of the hotel. Beach only 5 minutes walk away, The Miray has an excellent location right in the centre of Icmeler. Nightlife, Restaurants & local shops literally on the doorstep. Great for families, couples & singles.

*Miray Içmeler Turkey* My extended family (6 of us) and I recently had the privilege of staying at this remarkable family-run hotel, and I cannot express how exceptional their care and attention, in particular, for the elderly truly is. From the moment we arrived, it was evident that this establishment goes above and beyond to ensure the comfort and happiness of its guests. First and foremost, the 24-hour service is a testament to their commitment to providing a safe and welcoming environment. It's truly heartwarming to see a hotel that is so family-oriented, making every guest feel like a part of their extended family. Before we left we became a part of the family having met many family members. Miray has rooms that provide clean beds, towels, cleaning service, hair dryers and plenty of sockets in each room. The showers are hot and a delightful treat after a day at the beach, which is conveniently just a stone's throw away. Hot water 24/7. And the level of service we received was beyond measurable. It was never too much effort to provide for our needs and especially our 91 year dad. The respect our dad received made him feel so welcomed, so special and everyone spent time with him listening to many of his stories dating back to when he was 7 years old to date 🩵🧿🩵. What sets this place apart, however, is the exceptional staff. Omer, the owner, went out of his way to cater for our family's unique needs. John, Ali and the Chef are young men on their team, crafted the most delectable ice lattes and added a personal touch to our mornings. Martin, a true gem of wisdom, engages with guests at an unparalleled level. Not only did he share his knowledge, but he also embraced our culture, learning our Indian dance with remarkable grace. In return, we were amazed at how well he picked it up. And then there was Janki, the golden retriever, who stole our hearts. This beautiful dog added an extra layer of warmth and affection to our stay, making it feel like home away from home. The care and attention they provided for our dad, who has done special needs, were truly extraordinary. They went above and beyond to ensure that all his needs were not just met but exceeded. If this isn't an example of going the extra mile, then I don't know what is. This hotel's dedication to ensuring the happiness and comfort of all their guests, regardless of their unique requirements, is nothing short of commendable. The Verde hotel and the barber across the road provided personalised care for our dad ensuring he had a regular shave, hair cut and a bath. They helped him dress and made him feel a million dollars. Literally. Mohammed provided our family with a scooter to enable easy travel for our dad. Again, excellent and exceptional service. Janki’s dad Pasha, his brother Leo and stepmother Pikachu all reside a few steps away from Miray. When you meet them, your hearts will melt. Our room overlooked the pool was very small very basic n just clean enough to sleep in n no more Bed comfy enough outside areas were decent in a great location Staff very friendly but I’d say room 2 star at a push Done the job for a short stay but couldn’t do two weeks Plenty shops bars and restaurants on the doorstep

Hotel was nice, very central for beach shopping and restaurants, all only minutes away, the only downside was there were no tea/ coffee making facilities in the room, and I’d take your own hairdryer as there is one but it’s not very good. The staff are all lovely and helpful, couldn’t fault anything else x
