Ulasan Ibusuki Kaijo Hotel

The hotel is clean, though it is a bit far from the city center. The spa facilities are nice, and the staff is friendly.

The hotel is quite old but so is the other hotels in the area, free alcohol bar at check in time was great it was overall nice.

rather old hotel. we came during the low season so not so crowded but most restaurants outside the hotel were closed for business. there is only one onsen pool indoor (no outdoor). the fun part was the sand bath for experience @¥1500/pax. Ocean facing room is nice.

the perfect remote place for onsen and sand bath relaxing treatment, fantastic rooms in Japanese style with all facility, great service twice daily, onsen bath with sea-side view at 5th floor of the hotel... restaurants and shops inside the hotel, bicycle available, restaurants and supermarkets in the near of the hotel, friendly hotel staff - just incedible nice and helpful !

The bathroom is dirty with stains, toilet facilities are old and not functioning. The toilet was clogged.

Thank you for your hospitality for two days. I have traveled to many prefectures in the past, but I felt that the customer service at this hotel was particularly poor compared to the ones I have stayed at so far. Despite the fact that there was a welcome drink, they did not inform me at all and did not serve it, and even though I left a drink in the fridge in my room, they did not even call me. It was a shame as I was in an area where I could relax in nature.

The room was not cleaned properly. Also, the door to the room was not properly fitted and it was difficult to close it.

[Good] The location is great, very close to the Sand Raku Hall (and the bus stop), by the sea, it's very pleasant to fall asleep listening to the sound of the waves at night. There are sand baths (1200 yen) and hot springs, very comfortable. [Bad] Maybe it's because it's a Japanese inn. The cleaning lady suddenly opened the door with a key and came in to make a blanket for me while I was still in the room, which scared me. (Japanese inn service habits?) [Summary] Super cost-effective, elegant environment, friendly and kind service staff who can speak English.

Although the decoration of the hotel is a bit older, the overall sanitary environment is very clean. Your staff's service attitude is very friendly. It is best to choose a room with a full sea view. The breakfast is very rich and has many choices. It specializes in local cuisine and is very cost-effective. For dinner, if you are driving by yourself, you can choose to go to an izakaya in the shopping street next to Ibusuki JR Station, which is also a good place. There is a hot sand bath in the hotel for ¥1,200. It is very convenient without having to go out to Sandaku.

When we had a request, we went to the counter to get the required service. The waiter arrived in a blink of an eye and helped us deal with it immediately, which was very efficient. The room is clean and sanitary. You can watch the sunrise in the large bathing area in the morning, which is a first-class experience.

The sea view is excellent, and you can't see the sunrise in bad weather. The waiter was polite but kept sending them emails but never got a reply. Even if you check through trip.com, it often takes several days to get a reply. The dinner at the hotel was rich and delicious, but in comparison, the breakfast was average. The room and the bathroom in the room had a strong smell, which was a bit unpleasant.

Comfortable, clean and spacious, the price-performance ratio is really amazing
